Re: Best underware after surgery
After surgery you will likely be bandaged up pretty heavily. Partly for absorption of any seepage from the surgical wound, partly for padding for comfort and perhaps a little bit for compression to keep swelling down.
Most surgeons recommend keeping your penis pointed up during the early weeks of healing (to better keep the angle of erection pointed up). So, athletic supporter (jock strap) is typically recommended, perhaps a size larger than you would normally wear (for the extra space the bandaging occupies).
After you graduate to regular underclothes, you may go back to what you usually wore or you may find yourself searching for something more customized to your anatomy. I opine that most men do not think about their underwear very much...until they have a surgery in or around that area of the body. Then they start to pay attention (that they maybe should have paid from the time they started buying their own clothes). But that is a judgment call.
So, what you want to wear after surgery and for the rest of your life will depend a great deal on what you were accustomed to before surgery and how you see yourself after surgery and recovery.
Personally, I always wore my penis pointed up (briefs or boxer briefs) with a lot of support for my testicles and I still like pointing up with plenty of support. I have no brand loyalty.

Re: Best underware after surgery
Great thanks for the reply as Im Having the 2 piece ams ambicor .I won’t go back to my normal flaccid state I will be semi erect at all times so after healing I’ll probably look to get firmer fitting underware to try to keep it concealed .( I’m not looking forwArd to going swimming hiding that ) … thanks for the heads up tho about being heavily bandaged up ..I’ll look into it more once healing is sorted

My choice was boxer briefs. Enough support and still comfortable. For night time while I healed it was satin boxers.
Even with my Titan fully deflated my bulge is so big there is no more swimming trunk wear for me. With a 2 piece the only thing that may hide that is a jock strap, but not so comfy wearing.

Yes, the material jock straps are made of is very heavy and somewhat abrasive (as I recall from my High School days-long ago). If one (or one's significant other) is handy with needle and thread softer, smoother materials are available.

Re: Best underware after surgery
Following surgery, I wore nothing but jock straps 24 hours a day for a good 4 weeks. I kept my dick upright (even longer than the doctor recommended) and supported my balls. I credit the jocks and staying upright for my good angle of erection inflated. Jocks now come in a huge variety of fabrics and fits. I have always had a bit of a jock fetish, but can't wear them now with my dick down, as I always used to since my dick starts to ache from being bent down.
