No. If I thought there was a significant risk of harm, I wouldn’t have taken the shot at any age.

That being said, there is some risk of harm or bad outcome when you inject any substance into your body. Trimix. Guys can end up with fibrosis, Peyronie’s disease, it might give you achy dick.

Flu vaccine. I take the flu shot every year. The swine flu variety in 1976 sent me to the ER.

Folks have reactions to vaccines of every kind, regardless of how throughly tested they are and how long they’ve been in use. We’re talking anaphylaxis, Guillain-Barré syndrome, neurological crap…it can and does happen albeit rarely. Very rarely. The risk is generally very small and far outweighs the risk of having the disease. That doesn’t mean, however, that there is no risk at all.

If I was 20, in good health, and knew for certain that I had already had a case of Covid, and my doctor told me I had acquired better immunity from having the disease than I would from a shot, I wouldn’t take the shot.

If I was 16 or 17, or was making the decision for a 10 yr old child…..who hadn’t had the disease…..I would have to think about it. Not that I think the vaccine is dangerous, but MRNA type vaccines are new. They aren’t the old fashioned live or killed virus type. There’s not 50 years of historical use. There’s not five years of testing. Yes, I think they’re safe. But the likelihood of a bad outcome from having the virus is minuscule in a 10 year old or teenager. So I would give it a lot of thought before I decided one way or the other.

I’ve got a good friend on a vent as we speak. Things are not looking good at all. So I am not minimizing the risk of Covid. What I try to do is keep all this in perspective. I wish the rest of the world would do the same. People need a doctor they can trust. If they don’t trust their doctor, they need a new one. Ask the doctor what the prudent and reasonable course of action is for you, and make a decision.

But don’t let worry about ED deter you from the vaccine. It might might make you drool, howl at the moon, or have nightmares involving killer turtles…..but so far ED doesn’t seem to be a side effect.

Evidence based science is overwhelming on this. Covid-19 vaccines do NOT cause ED. Covid-19, on the other hand, increases the risk of ED by about 6 times.https://www.webmd.com/lung/news/2021040 ... with-covid

Hope you understand that docs have caused my ED which makes me naturally pessimistic about what they claim even if evidence based. But I did read your links and I do feel more confident in taking the vaccine than before.

Very good. I'm thinking about taking it.

Appreciate that. I'm more prepared to getting the shot now. Before I was very hesitant because many years ago docs were responsible for giving me ED. To this day I dont trust ANY doctor no matter how "advanced" medicine evolves. But given the info covering it, the vaccine is personally appealing.

Here's my "thinking" on this. When the vaccines became available I ALREADY had ED. Since I already had ED I couldn't see how a vaccine could cause me to have something I already had. I suppose it could have made it worse but I figured my method of dealing with the problem was working really well for us and would continue to do so. Turns out the vaccines didn't make an iota of difference one way or another. On the other hand, dying or getting really sick at this point in our lives(upper 70's) would definitely put a crimp in our sex life.

We don't really have a choice, here in France so... yeah, get it and be done with it. Gotta get out of that covid retardation and to be honest the vaccination has drastically stopped all covid here so i guess it works.
40 years old, married. ED all my life because of spinal cord injury caused by a tumor in early infant age. Using standard EDEX20 since 2007. Increasingly bad results with EDEX in the last few years, but had very good results for at least 10 years.

I had 1 dose of Pfizer last Saturday. My ED has gotten worse. Nocturnal erections are softer and I can tell things are different. Not encouraging. I have asked several men I know who had 2 doses, they have all had no side effects. FWIW, I have a history of bad reactions to medications (this caused my ED to begin with) that I inherited. It's been a pretty gloomy and depressing week, to say the least.

There has been mentions of possible ED problems with regard to actually getting Covid-19 from the possible post ramifications of the virus. There have been no SCIENTIFIC mentions of this occurring from the vaccine.
Do you want to run the risk of getting the virus and having this reaction? Because if you do not get the vaccine you will most probably get the virus and you may suffer with it far worse than if you were vaccinated.
Reading one non scientific account of someone claiming to have worsened ED from the vaccine does not justify such a radical response.

Think about it, if the vaccine was causing ED, it would be all over the media by now!
We all have a social responsibility to get vaccinated, its not just about ourselves. We need to protect others who will be more susceptible to this giant public health threat.
