Post Surgery penis pumping

I've read on this site that many men say they've managed to increase their penis length post implant surgery by using a penis pump. As far as physics go, this seems impossible, due to the fact of the length of the implant only being as long as the existing length of the penis will allow.

Also, what does a surgeon say when you tell them you're using a penis pump post implant surgery?
