How do you know if you have an infection?

I was wondering what symptoms show up if you have an infection with the implant. Does the penis get hot like it has a fever? Does the soreness get progressively worse?

If I'm correct an infection would cause increased soreness/pain, redness and swelling. How long ago did you get implanted? I had an issue with the antibiotic implanted on the cylinders. It made my penis feel like it was on fire, sunburned or the skin had been stripped off. If that's what it feels like see your uro, there is medicine that will ease it. Since COVID shut down everything soon after my implant I couldn't go back to doc. Ended up using Aspercream on my penis to ease the burning. And a kids sock slid over my penis so I could wear pants.

As a person who had one my symptoms were the chills like I had the flu, My balls were swollen as well. The dr put me on a 30day antibotic and took the device out but left the rods in. I'm scheduled to have another device implanted on the 26th of Oct.
