I probably should have simply said I inject 1/2ml.
I thought that was 50 units, but I really don't know.

Injecting to my thighs sometime caused discomfort for several days.
Injecting in the butt is a real pain in the ass though lol.
Sometimes, it's hard to switch hands to inject.
86 years
Inject testosterone weekly.
Implant on 1/22/19 by Dr Avila.
Scrotal, hor. incision just over 1"
18cm AMS 700 CX, 3.5cm RTE 100cc res
Gleason 6 prostate cancer. Monitoring it for now.
Update: On my last biopsies the cancer wasn't found.

I was trying to work out how many mgs per ml your injectable testosterone is, 200mg per one ml? For example mine is 250mgs per ml. Saying you inject half a ml or 50 units doesn't tell us how much testosterone you are injecting. Some compounding pharmacies make it at 100mgs per ml.

What size needle were you using when you injected into the thigh? A standard 23g?

You can research subcutaneously....My uro favors the plan, and it levels me out vs every other week. I inject cypionate MWF schedule, 20 units. My level is 800 ish.

You are lucky to have a Uro who is obviously quite up to date with modern thinking in regard to testosterone administration. Dr John Crisler was doing this 10 years ago. Before that he never prescribed T to be injected in intervals longer than one week. He was definitely not keen on the long acting esters such as Nebido.

@Simbarn

I went to an endocrinologist and he agreed my T is too low for my age.
Most likely it is due to pituitary issues.

He gave me transdermal gel.

I'm applying it since 1 week. At the moment maybe some benefit for general mood, but nothing else. What do you think of transdermal gel? Does it work? My T is really low.. 160.

Transdermal gels can work for some men quite well. But for others, they do not feel the benefits of TRT using gels. I think this can be an absorption issue. This can be improved sometimes by switching to a compounded testosterone cream of higher strength. Androgel can be hit or miss with many guys. Quite often the compounded creams require much less to be applied to the skin, which makes using it considerably easier every day.

Do you know if can cause mood swings during the day?

I mean you feel better after an application and worse the day after before the next application.

If that is occurring, your levels may be dropping to low at that time due to low absorption or your body is metabolising the testosterone too quickly in regard to the method of administration. It may also take a few weeks for levels to build up on a day to day basis which may also fix the problem. If not injections may work better for you.
