By "usage", do you mean for sex or just inflation to the maximum?

Sex might involve a lot of factors, such as frictino, pressure points, flexion, etc. applied from the outside (the insides of your partner). Mere inflation just involves stretching of the pinile tissues from the inside and compression of tissues, asign, fron the inside.

So, I ask. What do you mean by "heavy usage". Sex or mere inflation (and for how long)?

According to Dr. Perito, who was my surgeon as well, Coloplast made a major upgrade to the silicone used for Titan pumps and tubing sometime in the summer of 2020. So, fingers crossed, your 2021 implant should be much more durable than your 2014 and 2017 models.

Not sure if I’m deflated

Postby Confusedjourney » Sat Nov 27, 2021 11:27 am

I’m about 11 days post op and stopped cycling bc I’m just unsure if I’m deflated or not. My new flaccid is so close to my old hardon that it’s hard to tell. I keep pushing the deflate buttons but there’s no change to where I’m at now. I’m afraid of pumping and then not being able to deflate.

Mine feels like I have 2 pieces of Tyson tubing inside of it all the time. That is your new feel when flaccid. Takes time to get used to it.

I had my stitches out today and my doctor said I was not inflated for about 4 days. He told me to take the week off from cycling.

I do get an ache after being inflated for longer than 30 to 90 minutes (inflated to the absolute maximum, whether for sex or just cycling and nothing else). The ache may continue for up to 15-20 minutes after deflation if I was inflated for a long time. Sometimes I fall asleep inflated 100% and the ache wakes me up (kind of a safety feature, that). I have been doing this since my implant in 2017 to no known ill effect.

I don't inflate to masturbate - my girlfriend insists on participating in ALL my orgasms. so no masturbation at all.

If I am inflated to less than maximum, there is no ache.

When I first started cycling, and then having sex I would develop a sharp stabbing pain in the head of my dick after a few minutes. Over time, and as I gained a little size, it started taking longer for the pain to start. It's now gone away to the point that I can stay max inflated for 2 hours and feel fine. I gutted out the pain (with a few ibuprofens) and have gained 3/4 of an inch in length.
20 years of severe Peyronie's plaque, 90 curve, hinging and ED. Cost me 1.5" L and 1" G.
Implanted 2/18/21, AMS CX, 18 CM + 3 RTE, penoscrotal. Have gained 3/4". Gay, married, age 68.
