Peronies disease in my hand!

Postby bldoink » Wed Nov 03, 2021 8:44 pm

I just found out I have early dupuytren's contracture in the palm of my right hand. I recalled seeing the TV ad featuring John Elroy for the condition so when it played tonight I paid closer attention. It tells you to go to factsonhand.com, which I did. It's just a site that trys to get you to go to a doctor referral page. So I dug a little further and discovered the site is owned by Endo Pharmaceuticals. A little further searching revealed they were the owners of XIAFLEX(R), having purchased the company that developed it in 2015. Apparently the drug is being marketed for the non-surgical treatment of Dupuytren's Contracture. So, it appears I have hand peronies. I wonder if I caught it from my dick. How could that have happened? JK

Hey FreddyFree,

A few years ago I strted to have Dupuytren Contracture in my right hand & eventually it went away. Later on I developed it in my left hand & it is progressing. A few years later I realized that I had peyronies. You don't get ine from the other, It's a good probability that if your have one that probably you'll get the other. Both fribrious tissue.

I had 4 treatments of Xiaflex in my penis & for me it didn't work. I was at 30 degrees before my RALP & afterwards I ended up at 70 degrees.

Because of my RALP & my ED & peyronies I ended up getting an Implant.

Yes, I've heard this before: PD may affect both hands and penis.

This has to be the strangest condition ever: if PD is (in most cases, at least) caused by trauma, how on earth can it affect hands and penis?!

I'm afraid I can't help you much, I do have a little bit of a curvature but I'm pretty sure it's congenital and not PD (no scar tissue, no lumps, no pain).
