I was complaining about the flaccid before implant, I too was a grower and I am hoping to be a shower after my post op appointment. I have been married for 22 years and the PTSD effected me sexually so I am hoping that this implant will help that out!

Is the dual pouch underwear a must? I have never seen them before! I have Nike no pouch boxers on right now and I find my self adjusting all the time.

I too was a grower, and with the implant I'm now a shower and I love it! When I wear underwear at all, I have found the Seperatec brand to be incredibly comfortable. Not too restricting (which I find uncomfortable) and very pleasant to wear. The cool part, is that they do not overly conceal, so you still show some nice bulge.

I was also a grower, and I am still kind of if I deflate completely. It is now a personal preference for me. With the implant you can add a couple of pumps to make your flaccid bigger. You are in control of it :) .

Does anyone still or do have issue with PE after implant? If so any suggestions to help that?

I found boxer briefs worked well after being implanted. Enough support yet still comfortable. At night I used satin boxers for the first few months while healing that made it easy for my sore dick to move around. In the boxer briefs I was getting tangled when changing positions.
Never had issues with PE, but since the implant it really takes me a lot longer to orgasm.
Before implant my flaccid dick would shrink to near nothing on a cold winter day. I was a grower, 6'. Post implant I'm a shower, a bulge in my pants so big I gave up wearing swim wear. In sweatpants it's noticeable if you look, in jeans it's hardly noticeable.

How long after implant did anyone have to wait to have sex? Also I see a lot of talk about “cycle” can someone explain?

Sapperoldtimer wrote:Thanks for all the advice and suggestions. Any have the ams 700 LGX 18? Was wondering how it is flaccid? I had shrinkage do to ED and I am hoping it won’t be like that when flaccid. The doctor has it some what pumped right now hoping on the 6th Dec he deflates it. Any one with this implant has good experience?

When I deflate my LGX, it will deflate to about 50% by itself. After that, the back pressure (just the pressure from my abdomen) equals the pressure from the implant and flow stops because the static pressures of the implant and of the reservoir are equal. At that point, my penis is very much like being in a slightly aroused state. Not a hard-on by any stretch of the imagination, but tumescent enough to indicate a man with sexual thoughts.

To get TRULY flaccid, it is necessary for me to squeeze all the saline out of the implant. I do this by wrapping my entire hand around my penis and squeezing, then pushing the head of my penis down inside my fist (as it the shaft had accordion-like folds) and squeezing down some more. I can tell the saline is flowing back into the reservoir because the valve in my scrotum vibrates or buzzes (I can definitely feel it if my other hand is on the pump).

At this point, my penis is completely limp and just like my previous flaccid except if you look real hard, you can see (and if you feel around, you can feel) that there are inflatable tubes. You can feel the material's folds fairly easily.

It is good to deflate completely for a few hours each day so if there is scar tissue encapsulating your reservoir, it does not encapsulate so tightly/small that it restricts your future ability to deflate completely. Same reasoning goes for INflating completely a few times a day adding up to a couple of hours. You don't want a scar tissue capsule to restrict complete inflation. Breaking up scar tissue is uncomfortable ("uncomfortable" is doctor-speak for "Painful") but necessary for a full recovery.

I still inflate fully almost every day for at least a half-hour and deflate 100% almost every day for a couple hours or overnight.

Talk to your surgeon about a standard protocol. He will appreciate that you are motivated to optimize his artistry.

Well, just got release yesterday and was told to start cycling did my first cycling last night and man it was hard squeezing the pump. I only pumped 10 pumps it was hard and I hope with more pumps it will get longer and harder. Any advice for cycling?

Conventional wisdom states that you don't want to stay pumped up too long (how long is "too long"?) because the distal tips of your implant will compress the tissues in your glans, limiting circulation to them. Generally, discomfort seems to have limited me (I have often fallen asleep fully inflated and discomfort wakes me 30 to 90 minutes later whereupon I deflate).

The number of pumps it takes to become fully inflated varies with each patient/implant. How fully you compress the pump bulb and the size of your implant as well as the amount of "stretchability" of your penis tissues all weigh in. Let your level of (dis)comfort be your guide. 30 minutes twice a day seems to be the recommended minimum.

Take assiduous measurements with a repeatable method and write down the results (not depending on memory) of both length and girth. It will be encouraging to you and provide data for your surgeon and us if any questions arise.
