Does the size of the implant indicate anything about your penis size?

The final frontier. Deciding when, if and how.

Here’s your answer:

Yes, implant size is related to penis size.

No, it isn’t a perfect correlation. You can’t look at a guy’s implant numbers and know exactly what he’s packing. Lol I’m not sure why anyone would want to. Then again we are male and size is an issue for many of us even when it shouldn’t be.

If you are old enough to have an implant, I guess by now you’ve figured out that not all of your penis is visible. There is a healthy amount concealed behind the pubic bone.

Just like penises come in a variety of sizes, shapes, and colors…..the amount of hidden penis varies widely between men. A general of thumb is that between 1/4 and 1/3 of the penis is hidden back there. For a guy with 6 visible inches, that means he has 1.5 to 2 inches tucked away unseen. So our 6” guy really has 7 1/2, maybe 8 inches.

And those numbers are just a rule of thumb. It’s not unheard of for a guy to have less or more hidden away. A guy with very little hidden penis is said to have a shallow crus. Someone with a lot more penis tucked away back there is referred to as someone with a deep crus.

During surgery, I believe it’s typical (I was asleep) for the surgeon to tie a suture in the vicinity of the pubic bone and take measurements. From the suture to the furthermost point he can get in the glans is the distal measurement. From the suture back up into the body where the corporeal bodies started is the proximal measurement. Using these two measurements allows the doc to size a guy’s implant properly.

If you post your implant size I can do the math and give you an idea as to what to expect when you heal up. I’ve done it for several guys in the past and they’ve all told me afterwards I was either spot on or real close. My numbers, however, are based on a normal anatomy.

Hey mate,

I have just had my surgery 3 weeks ago and started cycling this week.

I have noticed a massive loss of length and girth. I am only 4 inch erect now and quite skinny.

My pump is sitting really high in my scrotum and has somehow attached itself to the skin.

I've been stressing about this big time and raised concerns with my surgeon 3 times that I have seen him and he said it's nothing to worry about. Well it kinda is for me atm.

I have the AMS 700 LXG 24cm supposedly. Is there anything I can be doing to promote length and girth or am I panicking over nothing and length should come back? I was 7 inch pre op.

Hi there,

Are you UK based?

May I ask who your surgeon is? It’s my understanding it will improve in terms of size and girth but with a little time

Thanks!

About stretched flaccid, mine has dropped about in inch but my surgery was a month ago. I'm not really concerned about that but I am curious. If I regain my length does stretched flaccid change back? Right now it just feels kind of tight pulling on it.

It seems likely that your surgeon left you partially inflated (the range seems to go from very little up to 80%. There are pros and cons to any degree of inflation, so your surgeon picked the degree based on what he found during the surgery and his judgement.

When you do start cycling the implant, you will be stretching out any scar tissue that has formed (so the earlier your surgeon will let you activate, the better, but beware! too soon can damage the incisions - your surgeon has seen your insides so will know when it is safe to start cycling).

Let me ask you this: Can you feel folds and wrinkles in the implant inside your penis? If so, you are less-inflated and 4" and skinny is nothing to worry about. The LGX gets longer on inflation.

The pump sitting high is more of a concern to me. Mine is a bit high. If it were lower, it would be easier to reach. Ask your surgeon about that first, I advise.

Let me try to put your mind at ease, maybe just a little.

Before surgery, the best injection induced erection I could muster was 6.85”x6.0”. Yeah, I told my wife it was 7x6. She either always found it to be more than enough, or is one hell of an actress. Maybe both.

Right after surgery, for maybe the first couple of weeks, I had a stubby, thin, 4 to 4 1/2 inch dick where previously I had a cock. I was trying to keep the brave face in here but I’d be lying if I said I wasn’t concerned.

They told me to start cycling, slowly at first, three days after surgery. At two week mark I was told sex was ok. I waited another week anyhow.

Most of the size came back between the 6 month and one year mark. I have no idea why it took so long. Maybe it was me being too conservative in how many squeezes I gave pump or how hard.

I ended up a hair past 6 1/2 inches long, fully erect. Call it 6 5/8. That’s 1/4 of an inch from my starting point. That’s no big deal.

I think the LGX has cost me a half inch of girth I might not have lost with a Titan. I am going to trust my doc, however, because I have had five prior hernia surgeries, have real big balls, and he basically said I would do well with the LGX. But the loss of a little girth has been more than compensated for by a hard, rigid cock…..never having to worry about losing erection…..and it has a terrific angle. I don’t think I had this good an angle at 18.

Bottom line is I’ve been right where you are. Things didn’t merely get better with time. They got damned unbelievably good over time.

Thanks mate I appreciate your feedback.

I was stressing big time, and about to go back and ask what happened to the other half.

I've been reading a lot of posts and hear of people using penis pumps to stimulate growth too.

I'm a diabetic so my problems started a long time ago and slowly got worse so I was slowly losing size but up to surgery I was still 5.5' self rigid.

At the moment I'll be too scared to whip out what I have in front of a woman.

A big problem I have is the location of the pump. It have always sat really high to the point of the corner digging in to my penis. I spoke to the surgeon on check ups and he kept saying to keep pulling it down but I couldn't even touch it I was in that much pain and now the skin has stuck to the pump and I can't separate it (I'm 3 weeks prior surgery) so I'm not sure if it will naturally separate or if it is a complication because it feels like it is pulling on the skin on my penis so that may also be holding my length back.

I have no pain at all in penis when pumped up and feel it could easily go another 2 inches atleast.

I don’t know what percent of us have a high riding pump afterwards. It’s not an insignificant number, for sure. Fortunately, it does tend to resolve.

If the doctor said pull on it, do it. My pump was way high in the scrotum. I could barely grasp it enough to pull on it. My doctor advocated slow gentle pressure, frequently, instead of me grabbing the he’ll out of it and tearing something up.

We had gotten to the point where, during a follow up 6 weeks after surgery, the doctor told me if it didn’t resolve he could go in and move it, that it would not be as traumatic or invasive as original surgery, more of a fine tuning thru a little hole in the scrotum. Before he did it, though, he wanted me to keep tugging and give it some time.

A week or so later I woke up and it had repositioned itself to a nearly ideal location.

None of us react identically to a surgical assault do we can’t expect the healing to be the same either. Still, a fair number of guys end up with high pumps (and get told to pull them down) and they almost always seem to resolve once a guy is healed up well.

Cheers mate,

I just got home from work and had a hot shower and cycled and for the 1st time there was no pain so hopefully it's a sign.

The pump is still heavily attached to my scrotum though. I've tried peeling it off the pump but it just isn't budging. I feel that if it was to come free I'd easily be able to move the pump lower and it would resolve all the pain issues I'm experiencing.

Scrotum feel 100 times better today with almost no swelling. Hopefully it detaches itself and I don't need to go back under the knife

How many times should I be cycling myself each day? I am doing 2 times with no pain, should I increase the amount of cycles or duration?
