Perineum pain

Postby Spontaneous1 » Sat Jan 01, 2022 2:31 pm

Fellow FT posters, I have intermittent pain in my perineum area occasionally and was wondering what might be causing this? It only happens rarely, as does an occasional pain in my left testicle. This always feels like a toothache, nothing sharp and consistent, just a dull ache. It only lasts a few seconds then goes I away for days or weeks before recurring again. My uro did a physical exam with no issues found with prostate or testicles. My PSA is fine, no hemorrhoids, and no hard/soft flaccid issues like I've read about on here. My bloodwork's good, b.p. is 120/74, resting pulse 58, and heart and lungs are good. So with no apparent physical reason for this, and not having a sonogram, MRI, or whatever they use to check it with I'm stumped, but just a little concerned. Has anyone here ever experienced anything like this? Thought this might be a pelvic floor issue, but after looking at the signs and symptoms I don't think so. Thanks.

This sound like something I have put up with for a number of year. But after an ultrasound it was found I had a Varicocele on the left side testis. If the pain gets to bad I usually take a couple of anti inflammatory medications. And wait for the pain to subside. I am not medically qualified so can’t say this is your problem but it sound very much like my problem
I had a RP in 2016 and a year later My psa started to rise resulting in having 37 sections of radio therapy. 2021 Testosterone replacement stopped due to psa rising again. Oncologist says most likely coming from a malignant source. I am at my wits end.

Varicocele, never heard of that, I'll look it up. So far when it occurs it only lasts a couple seconds. Thanks Richkez.
