I’m pointing high at the sky just like before! Woot! Slight lean to the left that wasn’t there before but when I read my surgical notes it was apparently a lot worse initially. It’s barely noticeable. I was worried about sticking straight out or at some weird angle. I think you’ll end up with pretty much what you had before if the right doctor does it.
47 year old swinger. Had 36+ hour priapism that landed me in ER twice over 48 hours. Scarring in my penis makes it to where I’m at risk of severe priapism at any time. Erections inconsistent. Implanted by Dr. Eid on December 21st 2021, Coloplast Titan OTR

Re: Angle of penis when erect
I am about 5 years out with an AMS 700-LGX and the angle down has gotten worse It is certainly not higher than 3:00, and often lower. I am no longer able to have missionary sex, and because of issues with her joints, my wife is not able to straddle me any more.
To make matters worse, I was larger than average before surgery, and although I maintained length, the girth is not there, and it seems that because the girth does not expand to my size, it never really gets hard enough for penetration. Put these two problems together, and we have pretty much written off sex.
Has anyone ever had a revision to increase the angle? This has killed my sex life as much as not having an implant at all.

I'm at 3:00
Before it came out at 3 and curved to 2. After it is perfectly straight...so now 3--straight out from body.
Harder to hide under the pants belt-loop

Re: Angle of penis when erect
Here is my theory based on playing with my penis before and after implant. (I'm not a doctor, but I have many years of experience playing with my penis.)
I believe that upward angle comes from two factors: First is the angle that the base of the penis (or cylinders, after implant) emerges from the body. Second is the amount of upward curvature in your penis.
I always had a penis that curved up like a banana, so it seemed like it had a high angle even though it came out of the body at about 90 degrees. Now my penis is much more straight out, perhaps just a tad above 90 degrees. Whatever anatomical shape was causing that curve is no match for the straightening power of the Coloplast cylinders. Which is kind of the point, right? I mean, people often use them to straighten Peyronie's disease, so they've got to be strong.
I liked my old upward angle and curve and asked Dr. Karpman if I was likely to keep that, since I had noticed that most pictures of implants seem to be more like 3 o'clock. He said something like, "It'll most likely be much straighter. It is what it is." Now I like my new straighter (but much harder) penis.

Re: Angle of penis when erect
sorry I got the post above wrong, so having a slight upward curve like a banana that I like would you mean that by putting a coloplast titan I will no longer have that slight upward cirva?

This guy kept his upward banana curve:

I don’t know what makes the difference though.
