I joined a few days ago, I had mild to moderate ED from age 45 to 63 and could take viagra and cilias which would work 90 percent of the the time, enlarged prostrate started causing bladder problems, so I had the Boston Scientific Rezume procedure done May 2021 and it caused complete ED after that; my Doctor, Army Major Shane Barney at Brooke Army Medical Center had already talked to me about the implant, I pulled the trigger 5 Nov 2021, 10.5 weeks out from surgery, I'm happy with the implant, I'm glad I can have an erection without side effects of meds and can be ready at a moments notice.
I'm also an avid cyclist, which could have caused some of the ED but never knew that until it got worse.
I have a 2016 Specialized S Works Tarmac and did have a ISM PL 1.1 saddle on it, but went to and Easy Seat II no nose saddle, which is OK, but I don't like the riding position, it is too high and your sit bones don't hug the seat. I usually do 4K to 5K a year since I've retired.
I'm thinking about putting my ISM PL 1.1 back on since I'm healed up more and the pump is finding a comfortable position between the boys. At seven weeks out, the boys felt uncomfortable with the pump going up climbs, so I ordered the Easy Seat II saddle desperately wanting to get back on the bike. I've put 250 miles on the Easy Seat II but not happy with it.
I've seen some post where a few of the guys have went to the ISM PN 3.1 and they said they didn't have any problems with the boys rubbing the pump or getting pinched. My pump is in the front, I have a AMS LGX 18cm with 3cm rear tips.
Thanks for any help,

Re: Hello from South Texas
Finally a fellow cyclists. I'm glad I read your post because we're very similar.
I always wondered if my bike riding could have been the cause of my ED. Even though I've asked my doctor and they said no. I had no issues until I hit my early 60s. I'm going to be 69 next month so I hope I pick where I left off or maybe better.
I planning my surgery for March of 2023 and I'd like to know what I can expect. Here's my questions.
#1 Do you feel the bulb in your nutt sack when you are on your bike?
#2 If so did you find a good seat for riding?
#3 Has it changed your riding distance?
It's good to finally read another rider to ask these questions.

This is one of the few threads I have read where the word "cycling" is used with regard to actual riding of a bicycle . When I first started reading through FrankTalk I saw post after post of people posting that they had started "cycling" only a few weeks after their operation . I was amazed at their recovery speed. It finally dawned on me that the use of the word "cycling" had nothing to do with riding a bike .

I guess I should clarify. Cycling on a bicycle is the term we riders of bicycles use.TurnBackTime wrote:This is one of the few threads I have read where the word "cycling" is used with regard to actual riding of a bicycle .
