Next night, made a cocktail and hot bath. I started feeling around down there and pushed the pump. It worked but I could not find how to deflate. I can’t find the valves. Maybe too much scar tissue right now. Doctor had me at 40-50%. Now I was 60-70%. Spent the rest of the week trying to find a comfortable position. That didn’t happen. At home for the weekend for some R &R.

Dr Mann. Hope your surgery went perfect. Happy healing.

At least you know it works! Hope your recovery continues to improve.

How long did it take for you to get under the knife with Hakky? I'm supposed to be having a consultation with him end of this month.

Dr Hakky seems to have quite a waitlist, not that being in high demand is a bad thing for this specialty. I reached out mid-December, and the earliest appointment they could give me for a consult was mid February. Dr. Eid’s office was able to get me a consult only 1 month out, but Dr. Clavell in Houston was able to get me a consult within weeks, and my surgery is scheduled for the day after tomorrow, about six weeks after I initially reached out. Earliest availability shouldn’t be the primary decision factor, but if you’re eager to get the surgery done so that you can proceed through the long-ish recovery and reach the promised land sooner rather than later, definitely check around the schedules of some of the other highly regarded surgeons.

Mid 30’s. ED since early 20’s. Pharmaceuticals were helpful initially, but stopped working. Implanted with Titan 22cm -.5cm (no RTEs) by Dr. Clavell 1/26/2022.

Thank you for the well wishes Johnoc63. Hope your recovery continues to go well.

Had my implant surgery at Morton Plant Hospital in Clearwater on Friday, January 21st. Was hoping to get an AMS 700 LGX and doctor agreed if an 18cm or less would be appropriate. I thought for sure due to my prior Peyronie's that was not going to be an issue. Woke up with an AMX 700 CX 21cm +2cm RTE. A little surprised and disappointed but trust the doctor made the best decision for my situation.

I understand what you're saying about the pump. The bulb for my pump is very low in my scrotum and off to the right. It's been very uncomfortable. Removing the drain on Monday helped a little. I'm still having difficulty identifying the block and valve due to the swelling. Definitely won't be squeezing that bulb anytime soon.
