How long after implant before ALL pain was gone?

Postby Odecko » Thu Feb 10, 2022 4:50 pm

For those that have a 3 piece implant, how long after the installation of your penile implant did it take before you felt NO PAIN at all?

At 3 months I was in good shape, except my scrotum/balls were still somewhat sore or tender, I guess. At 6 months I was 100% except for the occasional complaining from my right ball. He still bitches once in a while, he's not real fond of having a roommate, and I just ignore him.

The first is always painful for about three weeks for me. Put plenty of ice packs and the swelling will go away within two weeks and also the bruising will disappear in about two or three weeks. But for complete healing where you can have sex again it took me six weeks for the first time. Lasted fifteen years, then I had revisions. I healed up in four weeks on the revisions. Have had two revisions. The first one I had problems with the pump and only lasted ten months, had another revision two years ago and this time new surgeon done the perfect implant.

Don't be scared. They have perfected that type of surgery now days. Go to a surgeon that has done several and is experienced. You will love your implant. I have the LGX and I simply like it very much. Makes me feel so normal.

How about before all sensation is back? Thanks for the answer on pain but I still feel like I’m missing some sensation, particularly in the underside closer to the incision

I'm almost 2 years in, and I still have pain when fully inflated, but not usually til after about an hour fully up. Admittedly I don't inflate/cycle it enough (probably once a week at this point), so it probably would go away if I did it more.

It was a good six months for me to feel close to 100%. My sack was still tender for another two or three months though. Even now at 2+ years out my sack can still get a little tender after inflating.

I am about 5 wks post-op. Surgery with Dr. Shawn Blick in Phoenix (AMS CX) with very little swelling or bruising. Never took more than Tylenol and a Motrin, and I did not ice. Was some discomfort in sac for 3 weeks, but all is comfortable now, and I can cycle to max easily (bulb takes some getting used to). My length is back at my normal, but may have lost a little girth (but that seems to be coming back). Erections are easy to achieve, yet do feel a little different--less "urgency" to attention. Over all I am very pleased and I am amazed at the lack of pain post-op. I only wish I had done this sooner--surely makes me feel younger than 68!
