Yeah but that's because you used it without medical supervision.

Before you get a prescription, the uro doctor or uro nurse explains and watches you do an injection, and explains the process and what to do at 2 hours, 4 hours, 6 hours.
45yo, venous leak. Pills increased tinnitus (very rare). Using bimix+atropine, 0.2 of:
Atropine Sulfate: 52MCG/ML, Phentolamine MES: 0.9MG/ML, Papaverine HCL: 26MG/ML

Incorrect sir. The first time I used the lowest dose without supervision. The second and third time I had a priapism was in two urologists offices when they injected me with Edex which is less potent than trimix. I told them I don’t do well with injections and they should go as low a dose as possible, they did….4 hours later they finally got it to go down. Dr Eid even remarked that he hasn’t had to give that much ephedrine to knock down a boner in 20 years.
Also, Dr Eid told me that Trimix is NOT authorized by the fda for ED because it will eventually cause scarring of the penis.

47 year old swinger. Had 36+ hour priapism that landed me in ER twice over 48 hours. Scarring in my penis makes it to where I’m at risk of severe priapism at any time. Erections inconsistent. Implanted by Dr. Eid on December 21st 2021, Coloplast Titan OTR

But 4 hours is within the safety time limit, and even Dr EID recommends injection therapy to some patients. Was the 36 hour priapism, did that occur while under supervision?

Guys,

Bumping this thread because I need to pour my heart out and honestly need encouragement and hope. I’m not in a good place.

I’m taking daily 5mg cialis but I still feel and basically am impotent. I cannot masturbate myself to an erection worth a damn. This morning I had a horrible failure with my fiancé. I was giving her oral etc and had zero movement down there. It required oral from her to get me “ready”, but even that only got me 70% hard and I couldn’t maintain it. Started to soften as soon as she let go. To top it off, my PE has become untenable. I now cum after 1-2 pumps.

I’ve had failures but this felt different. I was “pilled up” and still failed. I maybe could have luck with 100mg sildenafil but my attitude is that if daily cialis doesn’t work, I want an implant because I need spontaneity.

I’ve been told I have pelvic floor dysfunction and possibly hard flaccid. But I’ve been doing physical therapy for a while now and getting worse not better.

I know how pathetic this sounds guys, but I need encouragement and strength. Is now the time to implant? I feel I have to start talking to my fiancée about the implant and get her reaction to it. If she had a positive reaction and encouraged me to do it, I’d have the biggest weight ever off my shoulders and I’d go for this.

What do I do, fellas?

I need hope, encouragement and frank talk.

I understand your situation, OP.

I went through various doses of viagra, cialis and generics. Once that cocktail stopped working I made an appointment with an implant specialist and tried injections. When those didn't work and a doppler confirmed I had arterial insufficiency, I made the jump and scheduled an implant. My GF was at her wit's end and if I can't reliably nail her, there's no point in having the relationship. At least in my POV.

Try doing this. Print your last post. Stand in front of a mirror & read it out loud to yourself. Hearing your words can sometimes be good. I think that after having this "talk" with yourself a few times. That the path forward will become clearer.
Btw, were you one of the guys that felt they could hide an implant from their girlfriend? If so, how could she not notice the difference? Especially after erection failures of this magnitude. Spill the story, explain the plan. Get her onboard for the journey. The trip is better if there is two of you doing the travel.

I agree with Gt1956. There is no way your gf is not going to notice you have an implant. What are you planning to tell her when you're 6 weeks plus healing?
Think of it this way: If your knee went out are you going to hobble around the rest of your life? Or would you have it fixed? Now your penis is broken, don't know why but getting a good urologist's opinion is the first step to getting it fixed. Don't wait and let it ruin your relationship.

pasted below is advice on how to make critical and life changing decisions by scott young:

A) "ASK YOUR FUTURE SELF IF THEY THINK THE DECISION WAS A GOOD ONE AND IF THEY WOULD REPEAT IT IF GIVEN THE CHANCE"

B) "DO THE FREUDIAN FLIP -- make the decision preliminarily in your mind, and then, flip a coin believing that the coin is going to force you one direction or the other. IF YOU ARE UNHAPPY WITH THE COIN TOSS RESULT, THEN YOU HAVE YOUR ANSWER

considering89,

With an implant, you will not have the problem you described on 2/11.

I'm willing to bet your fiance will be happy to hear that.
