No, definitely wasn’t cleared for usage and I knew I shouldn’t be doing it. Walking around with a permanent erection is a difficult temptation after years of it being so elusive.

CB, wise words, thank you. I believe a number of doctors allow usage within 3-6 weeks of surgery, if the patient has sufficiently healed. I understand that I’m healing on the faster end of things (relatively young, no complicating factors), so while I am jumping the gun a bit I don’t think getting to use the implant with a partner is much farther away than a few weeks. Not expecting marathon sessions of course, but even 5 minutes of somewhat careful boning would be an improvement over what I’ve been able to accomplish in recent years.

But I believe the mentality you are counseling is absolutely correct. This is a long journey, and patience with the process is important.

I get it’s tempting man, especially holding out without release for so long but damn, I’d never risk my implant not bedding in properly and going against dr’s orders. I’ve definitely read of such cases where men have screwed up the recovery process and thus the implant. Go easy man! It’s not worth the risk.

I am keeping a candid journal of my thoughts and experiences during this journey. Even already being aware of what is correct, I will make human errors, which I acknowledged repeatedly in my prior two posts. I'll be more receptive to hearing about what you 'would' do when you've actually had the surgery and can speak from a place of experience.

@CBinspok said it really well in his last post, "your body will be healing for a long time after your brain says you're done." My body has been healing on the fast side, but it's a good reminder to be cautious and patient, no matter the encouraging pace I've been on so far.

Hey, I appreciate your interest, I absolutely will continue with updates. I have my 6 week virtual follow-up with Dr Clavell on Thursday, I figure that's a good milestone and I'll do a full update after I have that appointment. But the super short version is that everything is proceeding fine, no major wins or horror stories to share, just steady recovery.

Hey brother @SearchingUsa

We are now at more than 7 weeks post your surgery, if I am not wrong, and we have no news from you. Have you been activated? Any issue? Have you given it a test drive?
Hope that everything is going well and as expected.
49yo - ED since I was 35 -Oral therapy stopped working- Trimix/Bimix too strong even at the lowest dosage. Now Bionic thanks to Dr. Clavell since March 9 2022. Titan XL 24 cm, no rear tips, trimmed down to 23.5 cm. Reservoir 110ml.

The short update is that I got the go-ahead from Dr. Clavell to start pumping at 4 weeks, as I had a wedding to attend and didn't want to have to wrestle my 70% erect dick into dress trousers.

I've mentioned in a previous update that the pump hardware had adhered to the front of my scrotum after surgery. There hasn't been much progress on that, and in the 6 week virtual follow-up Dr. Clavell prescribed me a course of anti-inflammatories to help promote separation, along with instructions to try and pry the scrotum off the hardware.

Over the past week there has been some progress. Previously, the fascia that thickly wrapped around the bulb and deflate button gave a very meaty feel to squeezing the bulb, and also made it difficult to feel the button and deflate it. With a lot of steady pulling and twisting, the fascia is now mostly separated from the bulb except for along one stubborn axis, and the deflate button is easy to locate and access.

However, the most prominent issue is that the tubing that runs from the pump to the inflatable rods is still firmly embedded in fascia along the front of my scrotum. As this tubing is rather firm, it juts forward prominently. Typically, our pelvis would be the 'hilt' of the penis, but in this case the hilt created by the tubing would hit a partner during penetrative sex. As the tubing tends to be the failure point, I'm not inclined to subject it to getting repeatedly slammed against a partner, so I won't be having sex until I can get the tubing to separate from the fascia in the scrotum.

When will that be? I don't know. I just took the last anti-inflammatory today, and I'll continue with my manual manipulation of the scrotum and the hardware. In the meantime, I'm pumping at least twice daily to try and maximize my size.

I remain optimistic that this will all work itself out with more time and effort. Unlike my ED that was only getting worse over time regardless of my efforts, I'm grateful that this is a problem that I can actually do something to help fix and will eventually be solved.

Well that's an overall not too bad outcome so far. Especially given that it looks like you are continously improving and that seems there is nothing that cannot be naturally addressed.
I am happy for you, please keep us posted.

Hey SearchingUSA,

I have my surgery booked with Dr Clavell next month also.

I'm a bit concerned about feeling the tubing in my scrotum... Can you elaborate more on this?

How is your pump placement is it in between your two testicles or infront of them?

Thanks

I was implanted by Dr Clavell 12 days ago and I specifically asked him to place the pump behind my balls. Right now it seems totally invisibile from the front. Note that it was my specific request, otherwise I understand that he places the pump right in the middle front side of your balls.
