Recovery from replacement surgeries easier than first time?

Hi all,

I'm 30, have tried pills and am undergoing therapy at the moment. No results yet and an implant is coming into view as a real possibility. Given my age I'm assuming if I did proceed I would require a few revisions and replacements over the course of my life.

My question is whether recovery from replacement surgeries is quicker than from the initial implant? I can't find any logs of people going for replacements here, and given my age I imagine I'd be one of a very very few number of people who would have to undergo potentially five plus revisions over a lifetime.

From what I have read it usually is,but I’m sure that depends on how smooth the removal goes but getting the new one in is usually a lot easier and less trauma because the space is already opened up!

I guess it should be less challenging mentally. There is a little bit more infection risk in revision than in first placement.

I have had numerous revisions and several replacements. The 2nd was with the same doctor as the first and it was a little better but still not easy. The recent revisions have been really easy and no pain during recovery. I think some has to do with the progression of surgery techniques and medications prescribed by the new doctor. Find a top ranked, high volume surgeon is a big key. Just my opinion.

I can’t give advise on replacement. Although I had my first surgery last Thursday. I have not taken any pain meds or used any ice. I have felt really no pain, only slight discomfort a few times the first few days. I was able to walk around the house, sit in a.chair and get in and out of bed the evening after my surgery. I was able to walk two miles ( a mile each way) to the grocery store on Sunday with no problems. I walked a 1/2 mile to Dr. Hakky’s office on Monday for my follow up and had my drain and bandages removed. I went to another follow up this morning and was able to cycle to 50%, deflate, grab my shaft and move from side to side and the only thing that bothered me was pinching the pump as my scrotum is a bit bruised from the surgery. I feel really fine after 5 days. I was not expecting this, I was expecting misery. The first week Everyone is different, but at your age, you probably won’t have a hard time.

My replacement was easier than the initial implant.

I knew almost everything the second time round, so there was no worrying about little things.

My scrotum also appeared to heal quicker. I think that was helped by the fact i didn't keep looking at it all the time.

The first operation my penis went black and blue, the second it just went a bit darker in color.

This was me, everyone else will be slightly or vastly different.

I pumped till it hurt then pumped some more. Then more. Then more till I could not any more. Lasted till I tapped out. Then did it again.

3 years from my first. Same length and a bit bigger girth. And I had a bad peyronies curve and down almost 2 inches from pre ed size.

My revision was definitely easier than my first surgery. I apparently recover quickly regardless. With that said, there was still some minor aches, pains, and issues.

. So did you gain girth going from a titan to a 700lgx? Everyone talks about the titan has more girth. I was thinking, if I ever need a replacement, I would go with a titan to increase girth. But my doc that I really like only uses AMS products.
