Re: post op 6 days still bruised and swelling
If i put off my deflate/inflate appointment with ralphs team this thursday because i'm still really sore for 1 week , will it make a difference to my size and curve outcome. A new appointment would be 3 weeks post surgery instead of 2 and i'm fully deflated at the moment

I think i know whats causing most of my problem now. The pump is actually attached to my left testicle, they just don't move independently causing pain. Will this resolve itself? Apart from this everything seems to be improving slowly 12 days post opp.

Re: post op 6 days still bruised and swelling
Following this one very closely. Im now 5 days out and my experience matches yours pretty closely. On my back in bed, watching Netflix i can (almost) forget whats going on, but get up and walk anywhere at all, even just around the bed, and gravity tugging on my balls has them burning and me in terrible pain.
My swelling seems to be going down, but I do get some sensations of heat once in a while and my sack is blotched w purplish black bruising, also about half my shaft.
Urinating still takes some pushing and while its not as painful as before, it sure isnt comfortable, and the time I hv to stand to complete it has my reaching under to try to cradle my scrotum, though it doesn't really help much.
Have to go to work at least a partial day on Monday. Not excited about that!

Hey Ting
I’m 12 days post op and I can assure you ( and artful ) that what you are feeling is completely normal.
Up until 3 days ago even standing up for more than 10 seconds was agonising but each day it gets better. I sit down to pee, but as I am 50% inflated I pee into a measuring jug and let it dribble into the toilet. This also takes the pressure off my balls when standing. My erect penis is actually now what is most uncomfortable with the dorsal curve pressing against my trousers and onto my abdomen. My balls are still sensitive but I tend to cup the bottom with my hands when I’m walking around the house although it’s not as essential now compared to a few days ago.
I still can’t sit in a chair, so my first day at work I was in the back office on the floor. I think I might work from home next week!
I can currently walk for 3-4 minutes before I get in pain, but it comes over very quickly.

Jimmi, Ting
The sore scrotum is normal, after all they just stuffed a foreign object in your sac. I found some relief wearing a snug jock strap. It held my 70% inflated dick upright as the Dr. wanted. and supported my balls. Gravity is not your friend at first. I wore jocks 24 hours a day for about 3 weeks.

If your doctor has released you to fully immerse your body, I suggest a hot bath. That helped me so much at first. The warm water not only eases the pain but loosens things up. Easier to inflate/deflate and move the pump around.
Next step to ease pain if you are fully healed is Aspercream. A small dab smeared around your shaft and sack will ease the pain for a few hours. Just make sure to wash it off before sex.

Re: post op 6 days still bruised and swelling
My main problem is the pump is enveloped in a big hematoma that' s also stuck to the front of my scrotum. There's no way i can inflate deflate because i just cant make out where the deflate button is at all and prof ralph said i'll have to wait for the hematoma to improve, he did say there is no infection which is great. But If i walk about naked and my balls get cold and contract it really hurts and underwear isn't comfortable.. The hot baths are a total relief for a while, as is lying in bed.
I just have to go back to work on monday as i've had 2 weeks off now and i'm self employed and don't get paid if i don't work. I'm in and out of peoples houses servicing gas boilers and gas safety inspections. I just don't know how i'm going to tuck the very tender still curved dick and balls into pants and joggers and do it, it's just so uncomfortable. My opp was 2 weeks yesterday , how long can i expect this pain to continue ?(although it does get a tiny bit easier each day) and how long before the hematoma absorbs into the body?

Artful,
You need to think very carefully if you are ready to go back to work.
I appreciate you are self employed and money doesn’t grow on trees but if you go back when your body is not ready you will set yourself back a week or possibly more.
I went into work today, thinking I was ready, I lasted 3 hours and ended up working laying on the floor with my laptop raised above my head. Suffice to say I’ll be working from home next week.
Just be grateful you’re not inflated….
