Post-Op Update
Post-Op Update
Hi boys! I wanted to get out an update of my surgery and my recovery progression. I had an AMS 700 LGX implanted at the Mayo Clinic's Methodist Hospital on Monday, November, 29, 2010. Dr. Ajay Nehra was my surgeon, he is a great guy, very gifted, and internationally know for his work in Surgical procedures involving guys like us. I HIGHLY recommend him and his team. I have never been treated with such dignity and respect and genuine care as I have been at this world class place. What's really great is that I am 85 miles away, door to door! Surgery was very successful accordung to DR. Nehra. He was able to model my penis to within 98% of straight, THIS IS REMARKABLE considering the Peyronie's disease had created a 120 degree curve. I am glad I wasn't awake for that! The hospital folks were great, had alot fun nurses who I could joke with, a little gutter humor! They can give as well as I could! My pain was carefully managed, they kept a good watch over me and were extremely attentive to my needs. Food was pretty good as well, they call it Room Service, a menu just like at a nice hotel with lots of choices. The only thing lacking was a wine list and a good stiff Windsor and water, but that will be soon! I am progressing very well, was off the Oxy Codone Wednesday morning, just taking 1000mg of Tylenol every 6 hours. The swelling is WAY down, didn't really have much bruising. MY penis is SORE, and it will be as it becomes accustomed new its new friends. I think the molding had something to do with the pain, I will ask in about 6 weeks. The boys are kinda cranky, not too bad, and they are starting to like their new friend. Considering what was done, how it was done (scrotal) and where I am post-op, I think I am doing great. I don't move too fast yet, but I know that will come soon as well. I better sign off on this before I use up too much band width! I am SO humbly grateful to all the friends I have made here, the e-mails and chats of encouragement, the concern, the caring. I could not have gotten thru this without you all. I want to stay active in this group, to help those who were in the same place I was, to "Pay it Forward". Please know all the prayers and thoughts were heard and listened to, I am here and I am happy, on the road to my new life with Little Bionic Matty! Thanks again everyone!, Matt

Great news. Now just relax for a few days, you are starting a new adventure. The retoration of an erection works wonders for our love life.

Matt,
Sounds like all good news. Thanks for the update.
By the way, we had a cold snap in Baton Rouge this weekend and got into a discussion related to "How cold is it?" So I thought I'd ask someone who lives in the frozen tundra. Which is colder: a witch's tit or a well-digger's ass?
Hey it's Monday, we need all the chuckles we can get.
Later,
Greg

In this weather, I believe, it could be an urologist finger! Just a thought.
