Sweatpants and an oversized shirt?
Looking forward to your results on it. If I chose Clavell I'll have a ~6 hour flight with one stop...

Update: day 5 post surgery.
Last night, at around 1:30am, before going to bed, I sent an email to my surgeon, expressing some concerns about the cylinders’ shape and location and the 4+ hour flight trip back home planned for Wednesday. To my great surprise I woke up at 7am with an answer from him inviting me to meet him at his office at 8:30am. I wasn't really prepared for it, since I have literally spent the last 5 days in my hotel room and it would have been my first exploration out of my room since the surgery, however I didn't want to miss the opportunity, so I got ready and went to his office.
It is important to note that I have used almost no painkillers since after the surgery, besides a couple of documented times to ascertain if they really have a major impact on my already moderate discomfort. The conclusion is that while my discomfort or pain is mild to moderate, the prescribed painkillers have little or no effect in diminishing the discomfort or pain.
During the visit the doctor confirmed that I was healing extremely well and that given the progress, he was planning to activate my IPP well before the standard time. He also, at my request and after duly required medical checking, prescribed me a stronger painkiller in the event I would not stand the pain while travelling by plane. Again, I don’t really need any painkiller so far, but I wanted to be sure that I had a backup solution in case need arises.
Today I woke up with an improved endurance with respect to pain or discomfort caused by walking around for extended periods of time. So, I can really see a progress and I was surprised that I managed to freely walk, ride with Uber and spend a couple of hours around.
I used a jock strap to pull the little boy towards my belly and I had an oversized shirt along with large joggers, I am sure that nobody noticed the bulge.
Overall, very happy by how things are progressing, I am eager to test drive my bionic pet soon…

If you spend a week here in Houston, that should work fine. I am posting an update after my 4+ hour trip in less than 48 hours from now. Note that my surgery was more complex than the average as the surgeon had to dig within the fibrosis to create a tunnel for the cylinders, you may not have fibrosis. Furthermore, he also performed a vasectomy and a ventral phalloplasty, if you only have the IPP your recovery time should be shorter than mine. At this stage I have no contusion, no bump, no bruise, no discoloration, ever since the first day. I had no urethra pain because my surgeon doesn't need a catheter for self guidance and I have used close to almost no ice, nonetheless I have nothing, between my legs, that that looks like having undergone a major surgery.

Fifty-one years old. ED started at age forty. I took Cialis for eight years and used Trimix for almost three. Implanted 12/6/22 by Dr. Jonathan Clavell. AMS 700CX 21cm.

What was his answer regarding the cylinder concerns?
My concern was that they were not settling in the right place as aspected. I was feeling a little bump on a side of my shaft close to the glans but not on the other. He deeply inspected both cylinders and confirmed that all was as expected and there is nothing wrong with their placement. I wanted to have his opinion before leaving the country, so now I am reassured that I don't need to come back just to check this.
To go more into details, I was concerned that the tip of my implant on the right side, was not settled inside the glans as the tip of my left side cylinder. He confirmed that the tip is indeed well inside the glans and it goes as far as it is supposed to go and that applies to both cylinders.

TCG, respect. That is a long time to spend in your hotel room. Honestly, that scares me, a bit.

That's the bare minimum if you want to go in a mid to long haul flight. There is no way you can leave sooner. Maybe you could try to leave the same day of the surgery and take advantage of the large amount of anesthetic used to numb your little boy but it may be a little risky and I would not do it without having previously discussed it with your surgeon.

My flight from Houston back to Tokyo is around twelve hours. I'll have to figure a way to do this.

It is a common opinion here in the FT that people start feeling little or no discomfort after about 2 weeks post surgery, of course you can have light activity just after a full week but maybe not a 12 hours flight without any painkiller due to the limited seat room space and the unnatural position that you have to hold while traveling. Again in about 24 hours, I will have my flight back home (4+ hours plus logistics) after a full week here in Houston, and I should be able to give you a report on how simple or complex is the airport, and flight and the whole trasportation matter. Obviously not the same as a 12 hours flight but we should be able to extrapolate if that's feasible or not.
