Grafting
Grafting
I’m still grieving over my Peyroines related size loss. The idea of an implant frightens me because I would be locking in that shrinkage. This leads to my question about any experiences the brothers here have with grafting done in conjunction with an implant. Did this help with size or just turn you dicks into hamburger?

Re: Grafting
I am unsure if I would subject a grafted penis to the pressures exerted by an implant. That is a question for 1) a man who had the procedures (rare, I think) or a surgeon.
My contribution to you is to use a Vacuum Erection Device (VED) therapeutically to stretch your penile tissues to prevent further size loss. It may be able to stretch your Peyronie's-afflicted tissues some, maybe. The common process is twice daily for about a half-hour for at least six weeks. Not enough vacuum to induce edema or other trauma. Discuss with your surgeon. Two protocols I know of are 1) vacuum/stretch and hold for 30 minutes (increasing vacuum by small increments) and 2) vacuum and hold for a short time, release vacuum and repeat for the 30 minutes.
Good luck

Re: Grafting
Grafting + an implant is seldom done.
A good high volume surgeon will ensure you are not shorter after an IPP, but this may take up to 6 months of cycling to regain your size.
Another option is TEP ( Tunica expansion Procedure ) link here: https://www.jsm.jsexmed.org/article/S1743-6095(20)30646-9/fulltext
You may get back between half an inch and 1 inch but it does increase recovery time and risk of infection.
If you read Merrix's journal, he is proof that not only can you regain your size after an IPP but you can also end up bigger. Admittedly he is a rare case but it does happen.

Implanted by Mike Fraser in feb 2022 due to a 80 degree dorsal curvature. 18cm Titan - way undersized. 8’ pre Peyronies, 6’ pre implant - currently 6’.
Re: Grafting
Dr Eid thinks grafting is better with an implant because the penis is stretched out all the time, thus there is no bunching or retraction of the graft which can lead to failure.
I had a large plaque mass that Dr Eid wanted to graft, put in one malleable rod (as like a scaffolding), to keep in place for several months then do a 3-piece implant. I didn’t want to deal with 2 surgeries—recovery AND cost—so I spoke to other surgeons.
Dr Hakky implanted me and performed the “scratch” technique on the plaque. I believe there’s a video on Dr Perito’s website about this procedure, he developed it and Dr Hakky is the doctor that narrates the video. Other doctors call this technique “relief incisions”
My penis is now straight and I cannot feel the plaque. As to length, I’d say I’m definitely longer than I was with peyronies, and maybe a bit shorter than pre-peyronies. I honestly can’t remember, even though it hasn’t been that long. It was just a lot of changes in a short time so now that it’s straight I’m happier.

Would you know much about graft retraction? Seems to have happened in my case.
Thanks,

Unfortunately, I don’t know much. I never went through with the grafting, since the consensus was I was too young, the graft would ultimately fail and I would need an implant at that point, so I went ahead and got a titan.
If yours is retracting, I would suggest going back to a cycling routine.
I know you’re in AUS but maybe a video call with a surgeon that has experience with this would be best. Eid or Clavell would be a good start, I don’t know if Hakky does grafts. I’ve heard Dr. Lawrence Levine in Chicago is another peyronies/graft/implant expert. Eid suggested Dr Brian Christine in Alabama as a good surgeon to do grafting.

Thanks, I appreciate the response as I am a bit lost here. I am also mid 30s, I guess in my case, the graft was not a good option? Yet they still did it with an implant?
I was going to book in with Hakky but I might look into Clavell or Eid.
Thanks again,
J

Being a patient of Dr Hakky I can recommend him 1000%, I just am not aware of his experience with grafting is all. Are you looking to have a revision? If so, he should be on your list, if not at the top. He’s easy to book a zoom consult with and he can expand more on what he thinks the best fix is with your issue. Eid and Clavell also good options of course.
Eid was the first doctor I talked to and he seemed knowledgeable about the grafting but he wanted to do 2 surgeries, first the graft then the implant. Hakky said grafting wasn’t necessary and he was right.
So basically, it comes down to what you want to do next. Casting a wide net and getting multiple points of view would be best, though each consult is probably around $300 US dollars.

Re: Grafting
I'd recommend a good traction device ( I used the penimaster pro) in addition to a VED routine. I believe this helped me regain and reverse years of ED, Peyronie's disease damage, and length loss . Stretch, engorge, stretch , engorge. I feel like , even though I can't prove it , that I actually gained more than my original size . Search YouTube for penimaster pro testimonials. I was desperate and was willing to try desperate things . Good luck brother
