To Lost sheep, why WOULD you bring it up beforehand? Did you ever feel the need to tell a woman you were dating that you took viagra? Or worse, injections?

If you were in a situation when you and her are undressing, foreplay, etc., and she reaches for your flaccid dick. Might want to tell her why you're grabbing and pumping on your balls to get hard. She's not gonna be used to that.

Viagra and injections are easier to hide. My doctor did tell me about how implants can be a thing you do in the bathroom beforehand, but I don't think that idea would work well, at least not for me.

Unless the only place you have sex is in your own home and you always know exactly when it's going to happen, injections, which have to be refrigerated and only last 60-90 minutes, are way harder to hide than an implant. Meet a kinky chick at a sports bar while watching the game and want to bend her over and give it to her in a bathroom stall? That's not happening with injections. With an implant, no problem — pump that sumbitch on the walk to the bathroom.

Just edited some new stuff in my comment. I don't know about injections, never tried. All I know is viagra was easy to hide, and me walking anywhere with a girl and my hand in my pants pumping is gonna be hard to do discreetly.

We don't need to argue about this fact or lie to ourselves and act like implants are easy to keep private - they're not. Pumping an implant to get and maintain an erection is obviously way more noticeable in virtually every possible situation - and they're worth it.

For me the benefits far outweigh the downsides by a thousand to one, and if you're confident enough in yourself and she's attracted to you enough, she's not gonna care how you got hard - she's gonna care that you are hard. An implant lets us do that every single time when the other methods are far less effective.

Techniques for hiding the fact you are pumping up and pitfalls of hiding the fact of your implant:

Cut a hole in one of your pants pockets so you can reach the pump through the pocket. Give the implant a pump every few minutes and it will seem like you are just getting slowly erect to the degree a "natural" erection gets when a man is aroused.

Once at half-staff, pumping up while her attention is elsewhere (disrobing, while you perform cunnilingus, when she might go to the bathroom, etc) to a full(er) erection is easy.

By all descriptions I have read or heard, it does not feel different to a vagina, but could to a hand or mouth. Can be pumped up to a greater degree of rigidity than a natural erection, but is "adjustable" since you can pump up to any degree of pressure desired.

lol, to be honest, I think you're way overthinking this, and I seriously don't mean this to be offensive but I suspect you're probably an old dude.

That's not so much how things are these days, at least not in my experiences. I'd assume for the vast majority it's matching with girls on dating apps like tinder and meeting for a hookup or possibly turning it into a relationship. Sex is expected first time meeting.

Dinner dates aren't really a thing, and most girls it's a walk around a park to make sure the dude isn't a creepy pervert than going to his/her place for a hookup.

I need to disagree to a point. Feeling it depends upon the woman. In my case, my wife could always tell my level of excitement by the hardness of my erection. She liked me hard. To the point that on occasion, upon penetration, she'd comment that I was harder than usual.
There is a penis implant sub on Reddit now. In one of the early posts an implanted guy says that on entering his wife the first time. She grasped, "fuck you're hard". Tell me a man here that wouldn't love to hear that observation.

Yes, there are several men here who attest that pumping up fully is uncomfortable for both. The adjustable "dial-a-dick" is a nice feature of an implant.
