partial erection while urinating

I am one year out from radical cystectomy (neobladder) + radical prostatectomy surgery. I cannot get an erection at all since surgery. Started with Viagra which did nothing. Trimix + cock rings I am having results that may end up being satisfactory. One thing though, pretty much since a couple months after surgery, I will get noticeably chubbed up *sometimes* while urinating; not hard, but definitely some blood flow and a semi. It doesn't happen every time, and I can't predict when it will happen. It also subsides within minutes after I'm done. Just curious if anyone else has experienced this. Except for the trimix and this, I have zero noticeable erections at all.

No I can't really relate to what you're experiencing. I do recall the ole "piss hard" from years past. Obviously there's some nerve sharing that goes on so I'd guess it's not too unusual.

My RP was in October 2018. Yes, I also get "chubbier" if I am relieving myself with a very full bladder. It's a nice sensation but unfortunately I can't leverage it into a full-blown hard-on.

I subscribe to the "nerve sharing" theory, and a positive sign nerves are continuing to heal and re-program themselves.

This is what I was most curious (and possibly hopeful) about, that it may somehow indicate that some nerves are working and/or healing in there.
