Thanks for the updates CanalGuy.

I have my surgery booked with Dr Clavell next month and I'm also going to ask him to place my pump behind my testicles.

Very good choice, I am so happy about mine so hidden that not even my wife could guess that I have it.

Update: day 15 post-surgery.

Nothing really new today, last night I slept without discomfort and no pills.
I feel some progress everyday and it is becoming more and more comfortable moving around with my semi erected penis using the jock strap.
I cannot wait to have the green light from my surgeon to start cycling, I actually feel ready but I guess that because I had a triple surgery, my surgeon will be a little more cautious before clearing me for cycling and sex.

Ditto.

Update: day 16 post-surgery.

Last night I slept normally, I feel no discomfort while in bed. My complaint is the impractical semi erected penis that I have to carry around when walking. The pressure that I am exercising against it to "smash" it towards the lower abdomen is causing some pain over the long run. It is like if you have an erection, doesn't matter if natural or artifical, and you try to bend your penis and force it to an unnatural position. That's causing me some moderate discomfort especially at the bottom of the shaft where the bending tension is stronger. I really hope that my surgeon will clear me for deflation asap as I have more discomfort now than before (just after the surgery) and that's mostly due to the bending pressure that I am inflicting to my little boy.

Can you wear special clothes (a jock strap or special boxers perhaps) or can gauze pads help?

Yes that's what I am wearing, either a jock strap or a belt under my trousers to support my boy. The problem that I encounter is that after a while the pressure of the jock strap is becoming fastidious and depending on if you walk or sit the pressure may vary and it adds further discomfort. I would say that the surgery is NOT the culprit but the fact that you have to keep your dick semi inflated for so long is not helping to reduce the annoyance.

Is this normal to be partially inflated for this long, just seems long to me. Also where is it pointed when you have nothing on. Straight out or down some. Hopefully you can deflate soon. Some guys say they inflate and deflate after just two days.

Every surgeon has his own approach, most of them do not activate the implant before 4 to 6 weeks, so I am still well below the average time to have it activated. Furthermore I had a triple surgery and in general 4 to 6 weeks, waiting time, is just for the IPP alone. So I have no expectations to be activated before week 3 post surgery is fully over and even that would be below the average waiting time.
Now, I understand that some surgeons, specifically Dr Eid are activating 3 days post surgery, however I have also read that it is at the cost of heavy painkillers usage and/or excruciating pain and last but not least there is also a risk of interfering with the suture, the more time you leave the suture alone the lesser the risk of having it blowning up. As a consequence I am quite happy to wait at least 3 weeks before messing up with my new toy. However if I had the choice and zero risk, I would obviously prefer an earlier activation.
The position of my little boy is straight 90 degrees, however I am only partially inflated so as per my surgeon comments, he will point around 2 o'clock when fully inflated.

Update: day 17 and 18 post-surgery.

Nothing new during these 2 last days besides that I can see the wounds from the suture stretching and merging with my skin. I can still feel with my fingers some internal bubbling, most probably some air left from the surgery but that tends to decrease every day.
My only complaint is the impractical semi erected penis that I have to carry around and the uncomfortable that it gets when I sit and my penis strapped towards my lower abdomen is bending in a relatively painful way. I am assuming that nobody likes his erected or semi erected penis to be forced to bend.
I am asking my surgeon if he is OK to clear me for deflation by Tuesday night, it will be exactly 20 days post surgery.
I'll let you know what's his opinion, as always stay tuned.
