In the USA, agreements are made between the medical people & the insurance companies as to what procedures are covered & at what price. It would be highly unusual for an international company to have those agreements in place across the USA.
This is true. I live abroad, my know there are countless private international insurance companies covering treatment in every country --- except for the USA.
Why? USA medical cost often ten times cost of everywhere on the planet.
You might have a hard time proving that claim. What an insurance company & a medical provider settle on a final price is a closely guarded secret. Its considered proprietary business info & literarily no mortal man has access to that info.
But yes, on first look the "list" price is scary high. Do you ever wonder why the cash price for self pay implants can be under $20,000usd? Do you really believe that any insurance will pay $50k or more for a procedure that the hospital will gladly accept $20k for? They aren't that stupid.
