Very happy to hear you got relief but also curious why you had to resort to the ER ?
Being less than 24 hrs post surgery, I would think you should still be under the care of your surgeon’s office. I understand Taj doesn’t use a catheter but seems he would at least require you to void before discharging you.
Was there a reason you didn’t go back to Tag or at least seen by one of his office staff?
Implanted today.. any remedies combat the pee burn?

That first pee after removing my catheter hurt bad too. I got sent home with a catheter still in, and a drainage bag. Couldn't wait to get rid of them next morning, and I should have waited a few more hours.

I was required to pee (I only had a few drops in me) before I left, but I was still under medication and didn't feel the pain. The reason I went to the ER instead of Taj was because it was around midnight when I couldn't hold it in for much longer. Even if it was during the day, his office would've been over an hour drive.Flounder wrote:Very happy to hear you got relief but also curious why you had to resort to the ER ?

Sometimes there maybe infection especially from the catheter. A burning sensation during peeing could be a sign of infection

Gotcha, that makes sense. I erroneously assumed you stayed close to Taj’s office for the first night. It must have been frightening and I’m happy for you that it all worked out okay.
Anyway, today is your 2week Implant anniversary. How’s it going now? Are you otherwise pleased with your experience and results from Taj?
