1 year+ update

Hi everyone,

I had my penile implant surgery over 1 year ago now (September last year) and there are a couple of things bothering me.

One is the loss of size. I didn't really think about this prior to the surgery because I guess I just assumed that I would come out with the same size as what I went in with. While the difference isn't huge I think the girth is what I'm mostly depressed about. I lost about .75 in length and about half an inch in girth.

Can I expect this to come back at some point with future revisions or do I just learn to accept that I am now 'below average' and get on with it.

The second issue is basically my self esteem. I'm wondering how I can have a normal relationship with a penile implant. Like how do I explain this to a woman and not be rejected? The fact is, I feel like less of a man now and I'm not sure how to proceed from here.

I can’t really comment on the size issues. I guess we’d need to know a bit more about your history.

But as for the women and being rejected, honestly man, just read all the threads. Check my one a few threads down called ‘single men and female opinion’.

But the overwhelming consensus is that women barely notice and when and if they do, it’s almost never an issue. And any woman that’s worth having is not going to hold this against you nor will it be a deal breaker for any potential relationship.

It’s your relationship with yourself that has to be good! Everything will flow from that.

As for the size, hopefully it’ll come back. But I’m not sure why you lost size. I’m sorry about that.

I'm just past 2 years out. I lost some size too, but it gets hard!
Even though I'm a married man, the implant gave me back my confidence. You know how it is, see a pretty lady and eyeball her. When you're virile that would get a rise out of your pecker. When you know your dick ain't gonna work regardless of how much of a bomb shell you might hook up with, that's depressing.
Now IF you could go hours doing it I don't know of any lady who would refuse that unless they're dead between the legs.

Possibly a revision down the road will get you more size, but now you got a working dick -use it.

I guess this would be 1 year and a half update now and I can say that I am not really that happy with the implant. Most of the time when pumped up to the maximum I am actually less than 6 inches, probably 5.6 inches.

My girth is 5 inches at the base and gets very narrow near the glans, like maybe 4 inches. Also, glans does not really increase that much at all it just looks strange.

I am really quite depressed with the outcome when I think about it. Everyone talks about regaining their old size but I am nowhere close to that. When I think about meeting girls, I feel like I’m just going to be a disappointment and I feel like I will be on my own forever.

I’m not sure if the implant is undersized or not but the cylinder tips have never went into the glans and are just below. I’m not sure if that would help engorge the glans or not? I don’t know.

Bro, I know how you feel about the size loss. My shrinkage was from Peyroines not an implant. I had a big dick, now I don’t. A lot of my identity ( foolishly) was tied to my penis. Gone are the days that I whip it out and am treated to an” oh my god” or a “ holy shit” . Now it’s silence , perhaps pity.

The last few months I’ve moved through the stages of grief and have gotten to acceptance. I feel much better. It is what it is. At least I have A DICK.

My advice is get back in the saddle. Try perhaps an Asian woman as, stereotypes aside, they tend to have small vaginas. Start there and work your way back to the confident brother you are.

5.6 inches is slightly above average length and 5 inches is slightly above average girth. Your dick is fine, and if you stop moping over your size and put it to use, you can give a girl an orgasm with no problem.

As for your size loss, that shouldn't happen with a skilled surgeon, but maybe you had an extenuating circumstance (e.g., excessive scarring) that made preserving your size impossible. None of us have any way of knowing, because we weren't in the OR when you got your implant.

Regardless of what happened, forget about your old dick. It may have been 7+, but it clearly wasn't good for much, or you wouldn't have gotten an implant. Now you have a dick that gets rock hard whenever you want and doesn't go soft until you tell it to. It's truly a gift -- so use it.

I was wondering about asian vagina size. The average length of asian men is 4 inch. A 6 inch dick must look huge to them.
