Just wondering, The loss of size really worries me. I'm 7 1/4 inches erect with 5.5 girth. That is to the tip. I read the post from guys that have lost 1 to 2 inches in length and a few with loss of girth.
I am going with the Coloplast Titan, my understanding is that I should keep my girth and most likely gain some, as for the length, if the tips of the cylinders go half why into the glands I should be 6 to 61/2 inches. Just don't want to lose more.

Re: Has anyone kept their original size after implant
I just had my Titan implanted on April 1, so nothing is really definite yet, but if I've lost length, it's very minimal. I'm certainly not worried about it.
My slight concern at the moment is that my penis is no longer straight like it was before the implant. My surgical notes even say that the artificial erection they induced during surgery (but before any cutting) was very straight. Right now, my doctor says not to worry about it and that it's too early to make any judgement about how it's seated.
He's very confident that once I start cycling daily my Titan will loosen up and become straight and comfortable. Fingers crossed.
As for the length loss, I figured that what I had wasn't working at all after prostate cancer treatment so I didn't have anything to lose.
PM me if you want to discuss anything at all about the process. It's very fresh in my mind!

58, implanted with 22 cm Titan (no RTE's) on April 1, 2022. Complete ED started after High Dose Rate Brachytherapy for prostate cancer. Tried everything else first but nothing worked. Wonderfully supportive wife!
Re: Has anyone kept their original size after implant
I am not my pre mplant size, but it has grown in the last two month. The more I heal the more i can pump more saline into the titan. My girth is like everyone else 5.5. Not sure if I loss or gained because the base has tubes that makes it a just bit wider...I am 6 inches after 4 months . Doctor said 7 is what i should expect.

Re: Has anyone kept their original size after implant
I'm about 6 months and my sizes seem to be progressing nicely. Started 8.75", currently 8.5" fairly often, but not every time. Though also I've measured erect at a bit over 9", but maybe had to do with a VED or something. Regardless though I definitely get a stretched flaccid length that's longer. It was always 8.75" before, now it's a tad over 9" after some minimal amount of stretching before measuring.
Based off the research and some positive experiences that don't seem to be shared here a ton, I'm getting the feeling size increases are actually the most likely outcome, at least with good exercising. I don't know that. But I might believe it.
Oh my girth was 5.7" before and it always seems to be right at 5.5" now. A little concerned about that, but we'll see.

Definitely kept my size.

Re: Has anyone kept their original size after implant
I'm about my original length of 6.1" but the girth is hung up at 5.5" at the middle and about 6" at the base. To get this I have to cycle the using the Perito exercise and I get about 60 pumps but it's rock hard and a flat oval. The glans doesn't swell at this and it aches like a mofo after 6 months. So I get it about 80 - 90% and with a dose of Levitra I'll get something resembling my original.
Thanks

First, I have to ask (sorry about this) what you size is NOW, as fully erect as you can get by normal means (by which I mean not inside a Vacuum, but by the usual stimulation methods, enhanced as needed by medications). What you had a year or a decade ago is not much relevant.
The guys you read about losing length and girth may have been comparing their post-implant sizes to their pre-ED sizes. Not a fair comparison. Not fair to the surgeon or the implant manufacturers, anyway.
I assicuously used a vacuum erection device (VED) right when I began to be unable to get full erections with pills (never used injections or suppositories), so lost no size to atrophy. Immediately after surgery, my length was the same as the day before surgery and remains the same today, 4 years in. Alas, I was not aware enough of the importance of girth to have made measurements, but I seem to be the same, but more oval-shaped than round. But the dimennsion my girlfriend appreciates the most is the size of my coronal ridge. Your girlfriend may focus on another feature. Everyone is different.
Short answer: I lost no size at all and I attribute that to 1) no complicating pathologies (e.f. Peyronie's or injury, etc) 2) haveing very little time (months) between total loss of erections and implant and 3) maintaining size and elasticity by therapeutic use of a VED (not for sex, just for gentle stretching)

Re: Has anyone kept their original size after implant
I've had ED for over 20 years. Since I was 31, I haven't been able to get a natural hard on.
For the last several years before my implant, I rarely achieved a hard on, using pills and cock ring, comparable to my natural hard on.
I never measured my dick pre-ED. But with my implant I don't see any difference in length from what I remember from 20+ years ago.
I will say that I care more about having a reliable hard on than I do about having maintained my original size.

Worries me you're stuck at 5.5" too. I was 5.7" before so not as big of a loss as you're having, just the fact that both of us are staying right there at the same exact girth size. Maybe that's as big as the device allows? 5.5" is already well-above average, so maybe it's the biggest an implant can expand to.
I don't know that and will still be optimistic and exercise it a lot, and if we stay at 5.5" we're still considered quite large there, but I'd understand your concern about staying there after being 6".

How do you like the implant itself? Good erection quality and have you been using it?
