I stayed the same length as measured at Dr Eid’s office with injection. The girth is less which he warned me would happen, but add trimix gel and I’m like I was

One other thing that I should have noted. My doctor was very proactive when I developed ED shortly after my cancer treatment. She had me on daily Cialis and VED after my first email to her about the trouble I was having. After that we added various forms of injections of all strengths that just didn't work at all. I think that action is what saved my length. Then we did Doppler ultrasound and found venous leakage was the issue. While all this was going on I was doing VED at least once a day for 25 minutes. Once the issue became clear we started talking implant and she sent me to the doctor who did my surgery.
Get a urologist who focuses on quality of life issues. So many urologist start with "it's all in your head" and "don't put too much pressure on yourself".
I'm glad mine started with some urgency of trying to save my penis!

58, implanted with 22 cm Titan (no RTE's) on April 1, 2022. Complete ED started after High Dose Rate Brachytherapy for prostate cancer. Tried everything else first but nothing worked. Wonderfully supportive wife!

I regained my length (6") within 4-6 months of surgery and have actually added 1/4 inch in girth (5 to 5.25"). A skilled surgeon should be able to preserve your length. As for girth, it seems like most guys end up between 5 and 5.5" no matter what they had before. So if you go in with beer can girth, you might lose a little, but if you start out closer to average like me, you could end up thicker.

Worries me you're stuck at 5.5" too. I was 5.7" before so not as big of a loss as you're having, just the fact that both of us are staying right there at the same exact girth size. Maybe that's as big as the device allows? 5.5" is already well-above average, so maybe it's the biggest an implant can expand to.
I don't know that and will still be optimistic and exercise it a lot, and if we stay at 5.5" we're still considered quite large there, but I'd understand your concern about staying there after being 6".
How do you like the implant itself? Good erection quality and have you been using it?
I'm yet to have any major complaints. The deflate valve thing kinda annoys me, like after pumping it a few times too many the length decreases. I wish I could just pump it to the max and have it be noticeable that I'm there, rather than pumping until you hit a spot it all of a sudden loses inflation.
Beyond that I just pumped it up right now and I might not call it a great quality erection, but it's more than enough to get the job done. Squeezing it on the side does feel quite hard. Importantly, it will be far better than it was pre-implant, and that's all that matters.
Yet to have any real-world experience, due to personal shit. Moving in a month and getting in shape, not starting online dating again until later this year.
All things considered, this will make my life a whole lot easier and I wouldn't change a thing. Except my current size, which I'm gonna keep working on hours every day to make it bigger.

I never understand what you all mean by a skilled surgeon. The surgeon inserts this into your dick. Everyone will have a smaller size right after that. Then, you exercise.
I'm not getting 9" flaccid because my surgeon was skilled. I'm getting it cause I exercise it, a lot. Did a lot of people here just not do that? Or did you correctly yet at the same time very, very incorrectly followed the doctor's advice and only cycled 3 times a day for 10 minutes?
I don't think it's the surgeons job to preserve your length. I think that's your job.

The surgeon is the one who sizes the implant. It takes skill to maximize it based on the patient's anatomy without oversizing and causing excessive pain or, worse, erosion. If your dick can hold a 24cm Titan but your unskilled surgeon is too conservative and installs a 20cm, no amount of exercise is going to give you the length you could have had if your surgeon had sized you appropriately.

maybe the inflation is not very rigid because your cock is too long, or maybe the saline solution runs out of length and doesn't work anymore

One part of the surgeon's job is to measure the inside of the patient's tunica albuginea and select the proper size implant. This takes skill and judgement (usually gained only through training and experience).
Certainly the patient has a job to do in preserving length, and the patient NOT doing his job can undo the best surgeon's work, but no amount of proper patient activity can overcome a surgeon's mistake in length preservation.
