In my non-expert opinion, yes, I think it is normal. Do a FT search on words "pulling pump shower." I see 57 matches.
Venous Leakage (which I believe caused by my overuse of the Bathmate VED)

Hey guys,

I have been making progress with my recovery and a lot of my pain has reduced. My swelling and bruising is pretty much gone. I've spoken to my doctor recently, he agrees that I've been healing well and I may begin cycling in one week. However, I expressed to him that I have some concerns with palpable tubing in my scrotum and it feels as if my pump is stuck the bottom of my scrotum. My doctor has advised me to start pulling down on the pump in the shower to combat this. Not sure what's going on? Is this normal? I am pretty lean but it feels like the pump tubing is really prominent.

I've attached some photos and circled the tubing in red... Can you please provide your thoughts?

I have the exact same issue. The hardware and tubing adhered to the bottom and front of my scrotum, and it still protrudes like in your picture. I'm almost 3 months out and I've made some progress on getting it to dislodge, but it has been slow going, and it's still well stuck. Dr. Clavell offered to have me back for a revision to dislodge it, but I'm still seeing if I can make progress on my own.

Mid 30’s. ED since early 20’s. Pharmaceuticals were helpful initially, but stopped working. Implanted with Titan 22cm -.5cm (no RTEs) by Dr. Clavell 1/26/2022.

I suggest to work harder at separating it. I have a gut feeling that you'll prefer you pulling it loose over how I think he'll do it.

Same issue here man. If you read my previous posts you can also see some pics.
In my case the tubing started to become more palpable after some months.
My local uro that also does implants said that sometimes it can happens and he suggested to do nothing since I have no discomfort. Also Dr. Eid told me that it's a cosmetic issue and if i want he can fix it but he also told me that it's pretty difficult to fix.
My disappointment about that is that sometimes i fear that a girl may notice it even though no girls noticed till now. My current girlfriend knows that i had a surgery in my testicles (not implant) so she avoids touching my balls. But I think that even with a deep blowjob it can be noticed.
Anyway i have no intentions to have another surgery for that. I had 3 implants surgeries is 2 years because fucking ams failures so i prefer to keep the tubes and avoid another cut, infection risk, recovery process, costs etc...
I'm curious SearchingUSA, how you did yo improve your situation?

Hey Guys,

I've told the doctor and he thinks its normal, only a cosmetic issue. He told me to keep pulling on the pump and we will start warm baths soon. The weird thing is when I'm standing you cannot see or feel any tubing at all. You can only see the tubing when I lie down on the bed. Maybe this is because the pump is lodged to the bottom of my sac on an awkward angle? I've attached some photos of myself standing.

Overall, I'm not really bothered by it and I'm just focused on unlodging my pump from the bottom of my sack. If it does begin to bother me I'll get the doctor to revise it.

Oh, I'm definitely working hard at it on a daily basis, my hands get cramped up from the extensive pinching and prying that I do. A revision would involve re-opening the scrotum and cauterizing the fascia attached to the hardware, so not as tough a recovery as the original implant but I'd sure like to avoid surgery if I can.

Honestly, just a lot of manipulation. I grab the hardware with one hand, then locate the edge of whatever it's attached to and try to pry the fascia away. It's a combination of pulling the fascia, pinching and rolling it, twisting the fascia. Any kind of abuse that weakens the fascia and causes it to let off a little bit.

It's not a couple of minutes. I've spent several dozen hours at this point. My motto is 'pain is good,' because the fascia is so tough and firmly attached that just pulling at it doesn't accomplish anything. Progress is slow, and it happens when I've managed to apply enough force that there's a bit of a tearing sensation at the point where the fascia connects to the hardware.

I also do some manipulation but I'm also afraid to break something. I know the weaking parts of the titan are where the tubes connect to the pump and pushing and manipulate the tubes fears me.

My tubing is very prominent. The tubes kinked at a 45 degree angle and it's real noticeable when my scrotum is relaxed. When it's retracted not so much. My surgeon said she can fix it but I don't trust her. I spoke with Dr Clavell on a Telemedicine and seriously considering Houston in the winter to fix it.
Thanks

Hey Howling,

I have an appointment with Dr Clavell to check my implant. Do you think you could send me a photo of your kinked tubes? Im curious to see if it looks like mine.
