3rd failure in 2 years

Postby thedriver » Mon Apr 18, 2022 8:39 am

Well guys I just had my 3rd failure in 2 years and looking at a 4th surgery, Just cycling it and suddenly I felt things go, actually have bruising on the right side of my shaft this time, going down to the Mayo tomorrow to have things looked at.
Have been super careful and actually made it a whole year with this one.
I'm at my wits end, not sure what the options are going to be, or if I want to do anymore of this at all.
I'm almost wondering about asking for a Malleable this time, easier surgery, has to be less problems for sure, just not a whole lot of info here on them.
After 4 Titan IPP failures within 4 years I finally wised up and went to the Malleable Genesis 23cm- 13mm implanted 2-1-24 and no regrets so far.
For those that are asking, I'm going to change the wifeys avatar weekly.

Thank you for the well wish's.

Dr. Tobias Kohler at the Mayo in Rochester, MN. done all the surgeries, he is suppose to be one of the best in my area, I'm not sure how many he and his staff do each year,
I know it has been around $40,000 for each surgery, not sure how many times the insurance company is going to pay for this.
Is there any medical benefits beside psychological to having a implant done ? and besides achieving an erection ?
I just need some beneficial medical reason in my mind to go thru it again.

40K. Gzus, even Eid doesn’t charge that much and I bet he wouldn’t pretend not to remember you after 3 implant surgeries. You need a new surgeon obviously man. Sorry for your troubles.

Hey man,

How did your consult with Dr Eid go? Did you set up an operation date with him?

I am currently on my 4th Titan in 9ish years. In my opinion IT'S WORTH IT to have a functioning dick! Mine have all been covered by insurance and then by Medicare. GOOD LUCK MAN!!!

I'm happy for you but IMHO 4 times in 9 years is almost insane, expecially if someone has to pay out of pocket. And the surgeon is a high volume implanter..

in Italy there is no insurance that pays for an implant, plus if you get an infection you have to pay for the operation, then the guarantee for a breakage of the implant is 5 years ams and 10 coloplast, if it happened to me I would find myself in the mmerda , that's why very few plants are made in Italy

Just my opinion but if your doctors in a hurry outside the operating room he might be in hurry on the inside also. Regarding is it worth it? Hell yes. Go see Dr. Clavell, Eid or Hakky and let them know what you've been through. I bet they will take care of you and make sure the next implant is done right.
Fifty-one years old. ED started at age forty. I took Cialis for eight years and used Trimix for almost three. Implanted 12/6/22 by Dr. Jonathan Clavell. AMS 700CX 21cm.
