First Injection Not Completely Happy

Postby ShopMan » Tue Apr 09, 2013 5:33 pm

Went to my appointment with my urologist and did my first injection. It worked to a point. I did not get hard enough to penetrate :( but I did get somewhat erect. I was started at 10 on the syringe. Not sure what 10 is.
The good part is that it did not hurt at all. I pocked that sucker right in with no hesitation. :D
Guess it didn't mater a lot that it didn't work. Because my wife got called in to work and won't be home for several hours.
Uro said if the 10 does not work to double it and try 20. I am tempted to try again tomorrow but I guess I should wait another day. Uro said to call him tomorrow.

Shopman: Five units at the uro's office didn't give me a useable hard-on, even with the 30-something nice looking nurse doing it. So per her instructions I tried 10 units at home a few days later -- it was too much.

Your lucky you got a nice looking nurse. My "training" was from my uro and actually it was just instruction. I did all the heavy work.

Thanks terraplane. I have been thinking the 15 might be to better option. Not sure about another trial after only one day. Wife has to work a long day anyway. No chance for a romp in sack tonight. ;)

If your urologist said you could double it, I would take his advice and double it. I started at 15 units (Don't worry about how much that is.), but now use 40 units. You might even find that 20 units isn't quite enough, but don't be discouraged. I take daily Cialis 5 mg, and that gives me an erection anytime; however, it doesn't last long enough during intercourse to ensure an orgasm. Using the Trimix in addition to the daily Cialis does ensure lasting long enough for ejaculation plus more time afterwards if I want it to. There are a number of us on Frank Talk who use this combination successfully. This also means that you can quickly work up an erection before injecting to easily find a good spot for the injection.

My uro started me at 30 units and that's was way too much. I worked my way down to 2-3 units a pop and that has continued to be the optimum dosage. Sometimes I bump it to 5 units to extend the usefulness. :)

When 150 mg of Viagra no longer did the trick, I was started at 30 units and had to work up to 45 units before I got a hard one. I then worked my way down to 12, but subsequently had to move back up to 20. I think the effective dose depends on the cause and severity of the ED. Mine was caused by 20 years of high blood glucose (diabetic).

Thanks. I did the 15 and it was much better. Wife was pleased so I guess that's all the counts. :D
