Happy Days

Postby mmorris1128 » Thu Apr 11, 2013 10:38 am

Just spoke with Dr. Milam's office at Vanderbilt and he does accept Medicare/Tricare for Life and they are going to call for my records. So the journey begins.

I would suggest you search on Milam and/or Vanderbilt in the implant forum. There are several Milam patients who are very pleased and one or two who think he walks on water. However, there are also a couple of less than satisfied patients.

Dr. Lipshutz at Baylor Med in Houston also has an excellent reputation. I believe he also has a lot of experience with bladder control. Given your history, that might be a consideration.

Dr. Lipshutz (sic) at Baylor Medical School Urology Dept in Houston also has an excellent reputation. I believe he is also known for proficiency in installing various means of bladder control. Given your history, having a surgeon with that experience might be a consideration

If you are in the Nashvile and North area, Dr. Morris of Urology Associates Hendersonville office did an excellent job for me. He does most of his operating out of the Hendersonville Medical Center which is also excellent. A little less of a big city and patient factory than Vanderbilt.
