Caverject shelflife at room temprature

Postby joeban » Fri May 06, 2022 11:00 am

Hello all. Anyone experienced the Caverject at room temprature after mixing the powder and solution? Not refrigerated. Say you mixed the Caverjected but for whatever reason you did not injected till few hours later.

Below is the information I am finding out. Anyone has experimented it.

"CaverjectAlprostadil for Injection while in the powder form can be stored at room temperature (between 15 and 25 °C or 59 and 77 °F) for 3 months. After it is mixed, the solution must be used immediately or within 24 hours and not refrigerated or frozen. Suppositories may be stored at room temperature."

Thank you

I have no experience with Caverject.

It should easily be good for several hours. You noted that the information you found said 24 hours. I'd have no reason to doubt that if at a reasonable room temperature.

I do have experience with Edex. Strictly contrary to the Edex informational insert I have drawn up the reconstituted mix from the cartridge into a couple of syringes and frozen them for later use. My dick didn't fall off after using them saved that way and I expect I'll do that again but it's certainly contrary to the instructions so I'd never recommend the procedure. I suggest you don't do that. They most certainly have a good reason for their instructions.
