Did my third injection last evening. Used 15 again and it worked but not completely. Next time I am going to 20 or something in between 15 and 20. I was not rock solid at 15 but just sort of. It did last about 1 hour or a bit more.

It's funny you should mention that. I also noticed a difference when I injected on the right side I get a little harder then on the left side.

You low gallonage guys are lucky. Takes 50 units for success here. In no more than 15 minutes it's all gone. I guess Im a hopeless case for improvement.

Interesting. How long have you been injecting? Have you always been at 50 or have you worked upto or down to 50? Also, have you considered moving up to 60 to see if there is an improvement?

When I started injecting, I settled in at 12 units, but over the succeeding 18 months or so I have worked my way up to 22 units which provides a nice (not rock hard) erection that lasts for 1.5 hours or until I orgasm, whichever occurs first.

Wow. 10 units gave me a 5 hour, aching, granite-hard erection. I cut back to 5 units and that still took too long to go down.

I am presently at 3 units, and I think my next test will be 4.

In my experience, and based on the anecdotal evidence presented on this site, a 15 minute erection is more the exception than the rule with trimix injections. Perhaps it's an anomaly of some kind and you need to keep seeking the "just right" dose and give the muscle memory of your penile tissue enough time to rehab itself.

On the other hand, whether your dosage is 6 units or 60, the relatively brief duration of your erections might indicate some measure of venous leakage. Have you considered asking your urologist to test you for that?

In any case, I think you should report these results to the doctor and see if he/she has any thoughts. I've consistently "reported back" to the urologist regarding (probably too many) details of my experience with Trimix and he's had informative comments all along.

I have been using trimix for years and usually get about 2-3 hours on 4 units. There is also a super trimix which is stronger ask your doctor about it. They can also increase the strength of your dosage if that don't work you should have a vascular test for leakage.

Cock rings also seem to work if you have leakage.

Be patient and happy to be on injections. I hope it works for you as well as it has for me, now at 3 years and going strong. The amount that works best for me varies over time, upward and downward. Uro started me at 25 units after a test run in her office of 8. I learned about Sudafed that night, with a midnight run to the 24 hour Walgreens. I did enjoy having that huge bulge in my jeans as I searched for the Sudafed aisle, totally erect. Luckily Sudafed worked and quite quickly as it always has since. Pain free is a bonus on a first injection too. Since then I have used as little as 8 units, 6 for masturbating, and as high as 18 (two years ago). Dropped gradually from there to 10 units and in recent weeks slipped back up to 15. From reading other guys' experiences the varied amount over time seems normal.
One thing that has never varied for me is the injections giving me a very solid durable hard on, truly a wonderful thing. My injections are straight Alprostadil, no Bi or Tri mixes. My Uro says she believes in using the minimum that works well and the minimum of ingredients too.
