I need a new urologist.

I’ve done a lot of research on urologists around Nashville. I am just staring injections, however I am strongly considering an implant. Has anyone gotten an implant from anyone around Nashville/Brentwood? Would anyone recommend their Doctor?

I live in this area as well and would be interested in the same thing. I do go to a good urologist in Franklin but I am not sure on the volume he does as far as implants. I can ask though if you would like.

I had the 3 peice implant through Dr Matthew Pollard in Nashville 6 weeks ago. I am awake right now due to discomfort in right groin area. I strongly regret having done this procedure so far. I don't know who to recommend to you but I can't recommend him so far. Maybe it will still work out with more time. Are there any good doctors that do these in Atlanta that I could go see if this doesn't get better?

I’m sure if you go to the Coloplast website that there may be a provider search area? I only say Coloplast because that’s what I have but any manufacturer will surely have the same.

Dr. Pollard is who I used to go to, as he was local to the Nashville area. However thank god I switched to Dr. Hakky in GA. Worth the drive.

I'm very glad for you that you switched. I didn't do enough homework. I let Pollard do my implant in mid late April. I'm still in discomfort. So did your insurance cover Hakky? Even though I'm assuming your insurance is through a Tennessee carrier.

Yes I live & work in a town just south of Nashville. I have anthem bcbs through my job. It’s a National provider, so it has contracts with most doctors across the country.

One of my children has a medical condition and we see a specialist at UCSF in Ca. The specialist in ca is covered by my tn anthem bcbs. It’s irrelevant what state the dr is in, it only matters if they have a contract with your insurance.
