My orgasms are better now.
My sex drive has always been high. But I avoided sex a lot because of the pain of failure. Now I'm willing to have sex anytime, anywhere.

One month since surgery. I find myself a bit horny all the time now like when I was a teenager. The effect of having even a partial erection when deflated, that ready-to-go feeling, can't be overstated.

Mine never did. It's been 14 years now.
Dave, 80, Maryland - Implant (Titan) 2008 by Dr. Andrew Kramer (failed Sept 2020) - never used due to a stroke that, among other things, ended my sex life.

Re: Have your sex drive and sensations returned after implant?
I have an experience to share having done many experiments on myself and now being recently implanted. Worsening venuous leak over four years lead to almost a complete loss of libido. I became 'asexual' and stopped experiencing sexual attraction. Skip to 'Experiment 5' for info about implant. The rest is context and proof of loss of erection ability and ED issues as causing loss of sex drive which cannot be corrected without medical-physical intervention of some kind.
Experiment 1: Therapy
I went through extensive therapy from many kinds of modalities including psychosomatic, CBT & DBT, regular talk therapy, and psychedelic assisted. I was continuously told that my problem was psychological in its origin, not physical, and that's why I went down this route. (It took three years for someone to finally test me for venuous leak). I was already OK mentally before this and I think I coped quite well with what was happening to my body, too. Doing lots of therapeutic work expanded my self-awareness, strengthened and matured me, levelled me up from where I was before it, but my libido continued worsening.
Experiment 2: Sexual Practice
If the problem of loss of libido was psychological in origin then I should be able to effect some changes in libido through action. I tested this idea by making myself sleep with women who I thought were objectively attractive but did not sexually attract me (no one did). This included women friends who were sex positive and open to experiment. Firstly, the problem was I couldn't even get hard enough to f*** them. Secondly, it just wasn't enjoyable when I didn't feel any attraction. I continued trying. After many experiments like this I stopped, concluding this was strong evidence it could not just be some psychological problem that I can change.
Experiment 3: Optimizing health
Went to a leading men's health doctor who worked on optimizing my magnesium levels, vitamin D, B12, correcting for a gene mutation I had which led to less nutrient absorption, optimizing gut health after a gut test - using an antibiotic flush and probiotics. All good for energy, and these small optimizations and heavy weight lifting slightly increased my testosterone levels, but no positive impact on libido.
Experiment 4: Shockwave
Around the third year of my ED problem/libido problem, I was tested for venuous leak. Study came in positive. Before getting an implant I tried 'shockwave', despite it not being indicated to be effective in the case of a venuous leak. After a month or two, I was suddenly feeling sexual attraction again. I was no longer asexual. It wasn't at the same level pre-ED issues, but it was definitely back in a significantly noticeable manner. And it was not placebo: I would get semi-errect from sexual thoughts and sometimes when waking up. Previously that could just not happen. Nothing would turn me on. Not hot women. Not porn. Nothing. My hypothesis is that the blood flow stimulated that part of my mind again and reactivated my sexuality since my body could respond (the slightest improvement in blood flow & sensation had non-linear, positive impact). I'm so glad I got this done before the implant because having the implant with the same level of sexuality pre-shockwave would be a nightmare.
Experiment 5: Implant
I'm only 5 weeks into my implant. So far it has not had any impact, and if anything the impact has been negative. But I think this is likely from pain and my body still adapting. The residual impact from the shockwave is what has impacted my sexuality positively. Since it relates exactly to your question, you can check out my journal, which I'll update as I continue to recover from 'Experiment 5.' I'll take note of any changes or improvements in libido there.

I agree with the other response regarding checking your hormone levels and by all means treat low T if you experience it.
Hormone replacement therapy and getting the implant have literally changed my life from feeling totally defeated to waking up and pissing excellence every day, ha!

My T was low years ago, around 135. I got it up to 800+ with Androgel, but it made zero difference in how I felt. No improved libido, energy, sense of well being - none of the stuff so many say raising your T can achieve.

Re: Have your sex drive and sensations returned after implant?
No, sex drive and sensations are zero. I think that was due to an injury to the corpus spongiosum because my glans and corpus spongiosum don’t engorge. My sensation is that bad I don’t feel my dick in my pants anymore.
I have an appointment to see a urologist privately about this issue tomorrow but I don’t think there is anything they can do for me.

I’m 6 months in and I have to say for various reasons, both my wife’s and my sex drive have been through the roof. Sex is intense. She’s even talking about being open to anal now, which is wild!
