In your opinion, who are the top 3 surgeons now.
Anyone talked to Dr. Kramer?
Re: Anyone talked to Dr. Kramer?
Titan OTR. Dr. Hakky - successful surgery and very happy with outcome.
My advice: choose a world-class surgeon and make yourself the healthiest you can.

That statement really hit home with me. My doctor was/is a man of few words and I really can only judge by my own result. He never gave me any post implant instructions except to come back in 3 weeks. I had a world class result and didn't have to leave the area. I actually considered traveling to Baltimore (my hometown) for the surgery. I got some flak for not doing that.
When you put your dick under the knife, what do your prefer? A socially incompetent bastard who gives you the best results or Mr white teeth smile guy who is the nicest guy on the planet but puts your pump way up the shaft of your dick?

That would really be impossible for me to answer. I like to think I know a thing or two about implants, but I am not stupid and I know my boundaries. There is no way for me to know who is better, Dr. Karpman or Dr. Perito, Dr. Hakky or Dr. X.
I doubt anyone can answer that question.
However, if I change your question to "If you would get an implant today, which three docs would make your shortlist?", then I can answer.
That would not be the same thing as saying those are the three best, it's just based on my knowledge, my information, my preferences etc.
That's what I did almost seven years ago, when I started the research for my own implant. My 3-doc-shortlist ended up with Eid, Perito, Kramer at that time.
It wouldn't today, simply because one of them has disqualified himself in my book. Kramer would not be on that list due to reasons I explained here:

Eid definitely still would.
Perito, I guess he'd still be there.
Dr. Hakky seems to get very good reviews here, and he would be someone I'd look into.
Dr. Karpman is another experienced guy who I'd consider.
Finally I'd like to add a joker to the game. Dr. Billy Cordon. Trained by Eid and highly recommended by the same. At least a few years ago, not sure if anything has changed, but he'd be in the mix to start with as well.
That was five actually, but I'd start from there, and work my way down to the final decision.
43 yo, ED forever from VL
Fit and active
Implanted December 2015
Titan XL 24 cm, no RTEs
Dr. Eid
Activated day 13
Sex after 3 weeks
Gained length and girth
So far It works perfectly
Only one advice: Find a world class surgeon

Very rational, and yes your proposed question is more appropriate. Many of these names I would investigate further as well. Eid is still my top, which is natural as he was my surgeon in 2017. I'm reading more into the Kramer scenario.
Thank you as always.

Re: Anyone talked to Dr. Kramer?
Hi Merrix, do you have an opinion about Dr Clavell in Houston? Thanks.
Re: Anyone talked to Dr. Kramer?
Ok here is my deal. I got a implant by Kramer in 2017 and have been very happy. My wife and I have sex 4x per week normally. I know three patients that are happy as well. Kramer is a good man and has been nothing but great to not only me but my father as well. I think we are the only father and son to both get implants from Dr. Kramer. I have nothing but good things to say about him professionally and personally.
Re: Anyone talked to Dr. Kramer?
I have to chime in here.
Not so good experience with Kramer.
He was the 'in-between' surgeon because I had an infection. IMHO, he really stiffed me in terms on length when he put in the Genesis malleable. I even showed him pictures of what I had before. He was very dismissive of me and I gambled and lost:(.
His attitude of superiority because he was high-volume really got to him and that if he fucked up, he fucked up and you can't do anything about it. He said he videoed his surgeries for his YouTube channel, but mine got messed up, so he did not have one.

Re: Anyone talked to Dr. Kramer?
I have not been under Dr. Kramer's care. I have been a guest to help share with others, patient perspectives and experiences. Dr. Kramer is 100% committed to helping men resolve their ED issues. Few are more experienced. I recommend everyone do their individual due diligence to educate yourself on success rates.
My implant doc was likely the exception (compassionate, not a clock watcher, patient, personable, and very much an advocate). I have a back surgeon who is the best - but has never spent more than 10 minutes talking WITH ME (he talks at you); lacks compassion and bedside manner; and truly makes me feel like I am a conveyer paycheck for his practice. HOWEVER, his results are without question.
My point - doc experience matters. You are not always going to get all the qualities above from EVERY doctor. Sadly, that is the reality.
Good luck!

WTF?
100% committed? Probably, but not now. I hope he becomes a patient.
Watching an episode of Golden Girls where Dorothy, after seeing several Drs., was FINALLY diagnosed with Chronic Fatigue Syndrome.
In the last scene of the episode, she confronts the Dr. that was dismissive of her.
She said that until the Dr was on the other side of the fence, meaning they were the patient, he would understand what she was going through. Being scared, actually experiencing the symptoms, having to make adjustments to your life (sacrifices, being fired, inability to care for yourself or others, etc) can really throw your life into a loop. To have someone tell you that you are crazy because THEY could not find anything wrong, instead of admitting that this was something to be investigated, etc.
Being dismissive of someone when the job you spent hours attaining, and making sacrifices of your own, then taking an oath to do no harm, can really make things worse, so you did harm them by being dismissive.
