Unfortunately he doesn't want to do a doppler as sees it as too risky. Thinks I'll get priapism.
Been told it can't be venous leak as I wasn't born with it and haven't had trauma previously.
As and fit and well, been told I'll get a blood test for a full hormone panel, need a psychosexual counsellor and to keep taking cialis 5mg but daily for a month.
Apparently morning and night woods are old addage from days gone by also and that I don't need them according to my urologist.
Obviously I'm concerned still but I do trust his judgement. Just wanted to update on my situation
So I saw a specialist...

Re: So I saw a specialist...
Just my opinion… I would find a different urologist… What is so risky about a Doppler? And if you don’t lose your erection they put ice on you and it goes away… I would find a high-volume implant specialist for another opinion. good luck and best wishes!
Re: So I saw a specialist...
I would be seeking a second opinion. As one should with any major medical concern.

I don't know your specifics, but there is a lot wrong with what the doctor told you. As others have said, find another doctor, a specialist in sexual medicine doing a lot of implants.
20 years of severe Peyronie's plaque, 90 curve, hinging and ED. Cost me 1.5" L and 1" G.
Implanted 2/18/21, AMS CX, 18 CM + 3 RTE, penoscrotal. Have gained 3/4". Gay, married, age 68.

Re: So I saw a specialist...
He was a specialist who does a high volume of implants funnily enough. 2nd urologist to tell me its all in my head. 6 years of battling and to be honest I'm at a loss and ready to give up...

What has he said that is wrong out of interest?

IMHO, many urologists tend to dismiss younger guys with ED, believing it's "all in your head." ED can happen and does happen to young guys. Keep seeing other doctors, and you will eventually find one willing to listen and help you. I think I went through 6 urologists before finding one willing to try and help me with my Peyronie's and ED.

I don't know what more I can do.
I've had conflicting statements.
GPS say I need morning wood yet a urologist is saying I don't need it.
And I thought you could get a venous leak at any point but apparently you need to be born with it..

Night erections are probably good to have, but since they happen when asleep they can go unnoticed and you will only notice them when you wake up in the morning if you are in a specific sleep phase right before waking. Sometimes our sleep patterns change over the years. At your age I would notice them only if I happened to wake up at 2am or 3am, but I would never have them in the morning. I had great erections for sex nonetheless, so what I’m trying to say is that morning wood isn’t necessary for a good sex life.

I'm pretty sure I've said this to you before on here but I urge you to go see a pelvic floor physio and see if they can diagnose you with pelvic floor dysfunction/tightness. I'm in a similar boat to you (ED since coming off SSRI's) and after nearly 10 years of chasing shadows I finally found out earlier this year that a tight pelvic floor is what is causing my erectile woes.
29 years old. ED caused by CPPS/HF-like symptoms since coming off antidepressants in 2012. Taking Cialis 5mg every other day and undergoing pelvic floor physiotherapy.
