Going to have IPP on June 20. Have been doing much reading all over FT site. Some topics were reassuring and others scared the shit out of me. All topics were informative and added knowledge to make the process more clear and less formidable. Thanks to all members of the brotherhood. No matter if my recovery is difficult or easy, I am resolved to enjoy the result and recapture a sense of well being and improve my life. ED has been difficult to live with and has strained my marriage excessively. Reconnecting with my wife will be worth all the effort.
Again, FT has been a great find.

Congrats man! You have the right attitude going into it that is for sure!
I am approaching my one-year anniversary and I couldn't be more pleased. And like you, I did not have one of the 'premiere' Docs name-dropped so often on FT do my procedure but a surgeon my PCP strongly heralded and recommended locally.
I would do it again with the same surgeon; the 'kid' is good!
I hope you have the same recovery as I had... a couple days of lounging and ice packs, followed by a slow resumption of normal everyday movements, to back to work full-on in just two weeks.
If it hasn't been dropped to you prematurely already allow me the honor to be the first to say,
Welcome to the brotherhood!

Thank you for the official welcome. Nice to hear you had good results and are happy with your implant. I hope my healing time goes fast and uneventful.
My surgeon was recommended by a urologist to whom I posted the question " who would you have do an implant ?" Hoping I chose wisely.

Congrats on your decision. ED is tough both mentally and physically for a guy.
I will say finding FT was a good thing, there is so much good info and knowledgeable guys here that can help. Unfortunately, I didn't find this place until 5 months after my implant. Sure wish I knew what I know now before I had mine done, but I am happy with the result. You'll love it after everything is healed up and you figure out what you can do with your new bionic manhood.

Nyguy, the first week will be rough, very worth it though. Ice,ice, ice for at least the first 2 days. I used frozen peas and corn, great drip free re-usable ice packs and cheap too. Congrats on your decision and welcome to the club. Your male ego will be just as bionic as your dick. My mental health from dealing with ED was shit, but since getting my implant I can conquer the world. Good luck and keep us posted.

Nervous yet? I didn't sleep much the night before, but that was the only time it bothered me.
