Pointing penis towards naval
Hey guys… The Monday question… In the reading I’ve done it seems like most people say that in two weeks plus you should be able to point your Penis toward navel put some underwear on with big shorts and a big T-shirt and go out and about. My penis does not want to be touched nonetheless pointed towards my naval and I’m four weeks out… I also had scrotoplasty done at the same time. I will also say that I’m not pushing it because I don’t want to be in pain or any more uncomfortable… Has everyone been able to do this prior to four weeks? I’ve been 60% inflated for four weeks and two more weeks to go before my doctor will deflate. Just wondering if this is unusual… I office out of the house so I can stay this way but I’m not able to go anywhere, of course! Thanks for any answers…

Depends what you doc advise you to do. Dr. Clavell told me just to let it hang. The first week, I didn't do much but hung out at my house pantless and it just hung out.

For about a week 24/7 and 12-14 hrs after for about 2 weeks. My penis felt better not stuffed away.

iwant...Your situation seems parallel to mine although you should consider a few things: where did your penis point pre-op? How tender is the entire area considering you also had scrotoplasty? Will your 60% inflation allow you to bend upwards to even consider tighter underwear? Reason I ask is: I had penoscrotal webbing that was removed during my implant procedure resulting in a painful 4" scar that needed to heal; pre-op my penis pointed straight out from my body...never up towards 1 or 2 o'clock; my Titan cylinders did not allow me to bend them against my body with the spandex Nike bike shorts I bought to 'go out' into public (even though I was going to church within a week post-op. You might want to text your doc and ask your questions but, in the end, it's about how much your healing/ pain level will allow you to go. Just my 2 cents...

Good. Morning… any others with a story? Thank you?
Re: Pointing penis towards naval
I am 10 days post op. I can bend towards navel but there is still quite a bit of pain. Like others, I just let it hang loosely around the house. When I go out for a walk I wear baggy shorts and long t-shirts to conceal. I also avoided the opioids and just take ibuprofen for the pain

Re: Pointing penis towards naval
Thank you for replies.. anyone else who could point their penis to the naval w/o pain?
I’m a 4 weeks out but penis does not want to be touched.. anyone else feel this way at 4 weeks?
I’m not dying in pain… just uncomfortable. Penis has a burning sensation when touched?
Normal? No signs of infection…Maybe unhappy nerves or the coating on the cylinders or maybe I just need more time? The pains of staying sexual
Thanks FT guys for replies!

The day after surgery, I unwrapped my new dick and took the catheter out. I immediately pulled on a jock strap with my penis pointed up. It didn't cause any additional pain. I wore the jock 24/7 for 4 weeks when I was cleared to start cycling.

Hello,
My surgery was on May 17th, and I am 29 days post op, scheduled to be deflated tomorrow. Went in 8 days post op for partial deflation as the stretching at full inflation was painful. Initially and still occasionally, there was/is a severe discomfort in my scrotum, as if there is a wire poking me. Sitting too long causes discomfort as well. There are times when my scrotum swells a bit when too active, causing my balls to ache. I still cannot muster up the courage to reach down and grip the pump though it protrudes like a 3rd testicle. When I do reach for it, it is painful to the touch - or I am afraid it will be painful!! Tomorrow, the doctor will have no problem latching on and squeezing, apologizing as he does....
I have found rubbing coconut oil or body oil on my scrotum and penis twice a day helps with any painful friction that comes with the swelling and position of my penis, especially when putting on socks and shoes, crossing my legs.
I can maneuver my penis in all directions but was never instructed to have it point upward. It just hangs to the left against my leg. I wear tight boxer shorts so I am concealed a bit but self conscious still. Wearing baggy shorts and a long shirt helps.
It will be 30 days tomorrow since the surgery. It is getting better. I still fear the pain of inflating/ deflating but understand that is just another step towards healing. I can do some limited household activities (I am fortunately retired) but am really looking forward to a limp dick again!! Too much of a good thing!!
