I was having trouble keeping it pointed up and was in a lot of pain. I went for early check up and my Dr. He said let it point wherever it's comfortable and he partially deflated it. Was much better at about 40% then it was at 60%. Then at 4 weeks I went back for 1st. Follow up, he said I was ahead of schedule in my recovery and deflated mine then. Originally it was supposed to be 6 weeks until first deflate. I started the inflating exercise 3 times a day for 30+ mins each after that visit. I was having trouble deflating it last few days but I got some advice yesterday and I wasn't squeezing hard enough to deflate. Wrapping your had around your shaft and gently squeezing while you deflate helps. It doesn't hurt at all being fully inflated now , the pumping and deflating still do. A firm hold on the pump is key. I have an ams 700 cx, it's been an adventure so far but the payoff will be worth it imo.

22 days post surgery. I started cycling at 7 days. The last couple of pumps cause my dick to ache. At home I let it swing. When out I wear compression shorts w my dick up and it hurts/very tender. I find deflating a bit helps.

My Doc was you don't have to keep it up BUT if u don't, then you should move it around . I.e. don't keep it in the same position.
