And well, my father had money one time, but today we actually dont have much, so there is no option in that sense. Im supposed to work for like 100 months without expending to get to a doctor who will tell me i dont fit to get an implant? Sorry thats not even life. Thats some kinda joke.

Suicide will not cure your ED and would cause more pain for your family. That should never be your option.

I haven't gone out with anyone for 7 months. 10 months that my girlfriend left and started a relationship with someone else.
My erections just don't occur anymore, I've been lying in bed for 4 months and I've come to a conclusion:
suicide is a way out. I'm 25 and I don't want to and just won't spend the rest of my life being impotent or having to convince the doctors that I've screwed up. I just can't stand the idea that I lost the great potency I had before because of a reaction to a medication. I have no friends, my ex never spoke to me again and I loved her very much, but I felt very insecure because of ED.

Most of us went through very difficult times. When you read here in many posts (ED for xx Years), you just see a number, maybe 3,4, and some over 20 years. Could you imagine how difficult was life for these men and their partners and whole family?
At 23y, life is giving a hard test. It is now on you to either be strong enough to pass this test or just give everything up. You may not know what tomorrow is bringing to you, but you should do what you get to do. You can just avoid thinking about sex and focus on your college. You might get an excellent job that can pay for your implant (if you really need one). If it took you 6 or 7 years for that, you will be still 30y, and have life ahead of you. Don't give up at all.

How were you able to fuck 1 of the 3 girls? What did you do and how was it different than the other 2? It sounds like you are still somewhat functional for sex; do cialis and viagra still work then?

I really don't know how you guys managed to hold this anguish for so long, it's really impressive. I was always very sexually active before priapism and it was easy for me to get beautiful women. Perhaps today fear paralyzes me more than the actual injury that occurred. The fact is, I haven't had morning erections in 3 years. Does this VED help?

What's up friend?... here's a man in a situation very... very similar to yours...
I tried to commit suicide several times because of my penis and my ED... I also had to see the woman I loved with someone else, it is also difficult to obtain that amount of money in this country but I will tell you something... life does not end, There is hope, and if I still think about suicide but if I have not done it, I know that it is because I continue to have hope.

1) Organize your financial part, it is not impossible to get the money for a prosthesis, if in your country you cannot believe me in a first world country you can do it, did you know that in the USA and in the European Union you can get the money for an implant inflatable with an excellent surgeon in 5 months? .... if 5 months in the USA or the European Union with hard work and effort you can, look at other options if in your country everything is shit financially, try it in another (I speak because I have friends in those countries and they have told me about the economic facilities present)
2) In Latin America we have a HUGE privilege! We can buy cheap and generic cialis and viagra without a prescription, we can buy many foods that promote a good erection and the best thing is that we have cheap prostitutes, it works for me to drink strawberry juice, squash, moringa and combine all possible drugs to have sex.
3) focus on your economic growth before your emotional growth and you will notice a bigger difference, see sex as something necessary but not obsessive like before your ED, for example I have sex every 2 to 3 weeks and I learned to explore the use of my fingers and my mouth and it has not gone badly.
4) I can only maintain an erection in one position but I learned to be efficient that way.
5) IMPLANTS EXIST THERE ARE GOOD AND ACCESSIBLE DOCTORS
6) Tell me where you want to talk and we'll talk about it all day if you want.
7) have empathy, there are men who have small penises and have to defend themselves with it WITHOUT ANY POSSIBILITY
8) IT IS NOT IMPOSSIBLE TO GET AN INFLATABLE PROSTHESIS... HERE ARE MEN WHO LASTED UP TO 9 YEARS WITH ONE... 9 YEARS!!!!

its been 5 months since the last time i went out of my room. i dont have friends, no money, simply cant get out of my house. Anyone tried antidepressives? my only shot is to try and hope i can get a job and start going to the urologist again.

When I was 19 or 20 I had two different episodes of priapism. Those of you who never had it cannot imagine how painful it is. Anyway I was lucky it only made my erection softer. But it did stretch me out huge I was much bigger after that I suppose that you could say that was a fair trade-off but it was not. Still I was able to keep going for more than 40 years before I became impotent. Good luck

Hey dudes, just found this blog and im glad that it exists. Im a brazilian man with 23 yo and im in a trouble. Sorry for my poor english.
So heres my story. i´ve never had any erectile problems, i´ve been sexually active since 13 yo and a lot of masturbation because my penis was always hard. I had a lot of morning eretions. So one day i met this girl and we had this awful relationship that lead me to have trouble sleeping during a month after the breakup. I had always been against the use of medications for depression or other types of drugs in my state, but my mother and my terapist said that i should try it. So i went to a psychiatrist and she gave me DONAREN to use before going to bed. I asked her if that was going to take my libido out and she said it was not a commom reaction to that kind of medication. So i used it and boom: priapism. probably about 10 hours of the hardest and painful erection i´ve ever had. it has been one year since the priapism and after that my erections were never the same, and i never had any morning erections. i´ve come to 3 urologists. all of them said it was psychological. My third urologist made an ultrassound with the flaccid penis and found nothing. Today i´ve done a MRI of the penis with contrast. I cant use injections due the risk of another priapism. I want to know the experience of the young man with implants. please contact me, i dont know if i just kill myself or go into this painful and solitary journey. Its so sad to have to deal with this at such a young age.

I went through a bunch of your posts and you seem to be having on again off again success with pills to varying degrees. I'm in a similar boat. Like you, my uros (I have two that I confer with) ensure me that I'm okay. And, thinking about it, I don't think our dicks would work one day then not the other. My uros tell me the tissue is either damaged beyond repair and can't receive blood or it's not, there's not any in between. There can be damage that can heal, but there is a point of no return. I don't think our dicks got to the point of no return since we can still achieve erections with or without pills. So how are things going for you these days?

Also, just wanted to be clear, when you say you had a 10 hour priapism, do you mean you fell asleep with a boner, slept for 10 hours, then woke up and still had one and it went away? Or did you wake up with a boner that then lasted for 10 hours? Did it go away on its own or did you need to go the ER?

It's a bunch of guys who took Trazodone that gave them a priapism that lasted way longer than ours that had a full recovery. My uro tells me every patient he's had that had a priapism under 12 hours has fully recovered. We are our own worst enemies in this (other than Trazodone which I curse every single day of my life). The sheer panic and dread we feel leading up to sex kills our boners and we just have to overcome it.
