Hello everyone.
I really do feel an implant would solve so much in my world but I can’t quite bring myself to book the surgery in, just yet.
Things holding me up are the amount of revisions I will need if I live a long time - and the associated risks each time.
I’m also worried about female and what they might think. I am also worried about how far from a natural erection my post implant penis will end up.
I know that going to a top surgeon is highly advisable but I’m just wondering if y’all can help me by allaying some of the aforementioned concerns or sharing the positive aspects of your implant experience.
Thank you.
Need One but Can’t Pull Trigger. Yet.

can I first ask how old you are?
75, used pills, injections -- all lost effectiveness. Titan implanted by Eid in Feb '22.

Hi Joe,
Yes of course. I should fill out the signature.
I am 35 now and I've suffered some form of ED for about ten years now. It just won't stay hard for very long without stimulation. Pills have worked well over the years but I just get so much anxiety when I'm doing anything sexual. Thus, the pills are starting to lose effectiveness. A doppler ultrasound showed that I have a venous leak. Indeed, I barely responded to the injection they gave me.
I shy away from sexual encounters now and women in general and at my age that is just not an ideal scenario at all. Sex in general, masturbation included, have become challenging for me and a source of real despair, angst and anxiety. It all stems from my innate belief I won't stay hard and my hyperfocusing on my erection.

The injection they gave you was a very weak dose. You have to experiment and adjust your dosage to get the desired result. Concealing injections if you are dating can be an issue though. However, once you dial in the correct dosage you can be as nervous as a cat in a room full of rocking chairs and you'll still get a great erection for as long as you want.
Fifty-one years old. ED started at age forty. I took Cialis for eight years and used Trimix for almost three. Implanted 12/6/22 by Dr. Jonathan Clavell. AMS 700CX 21cm.

Thanks for the reply.
I don’t consider injections at my age to be viable long-term. And they inevitably lead to things like scar tissue and potentially peyronies, if I’m not mistaken.

My opinion is that you are not mistaken -- when Eid installed my implant he said I was obliterated with scar tissue -- from only 8 months of Trimix. It caused my surgery to last 2 1/2 hours. It's the Papervine in the Trimix that is the culprit said Eid -- straight PGE does not cause scarring, again according to Eid.

I don't know what to tell you that hasn't already been posted about your concerns. Maybe not addressed directly to you, but those same fears have been talked about many times. What are you looking for? What words would change your mind? Examples have been posted
Recently its been asked if anyone ever couldn't be fitted for an implant. I've replied that I don't know of anyone that a dr couldn't get an implant in.
I was wrong. No dr can implant a man that won't accept that they need an implant.

If oral medication isn't working. Listen to Joe and try using just PGE.

I appreciate the input but I’m just not one to take an injection case everywhere with me, keep them refrigerated etc, sneak off to the bathroom to inject myself and if I’m doing this at my age, let’s be honest, it only leads one place.

I'm slightly older than you and of all the reasons you wrote IMHO numbers and cost of revisions could be the more challenging. Btw you're likely end up using more your penis being healthy at 40 than at 65 with backpain and a menopausal partner.
Btw pills don't work well if you're in a anxious - depressed mood. And adrenaline is an erection killer. You should assess honestly if you really have a "not viable" dick or you're mainly looking for an implant as a confidence booster.
