Re: Who wins???
I lost my dick to prostate cancer. I used a 5 mg. Cialis occasionally before that. I was 72 and having great sex with my wife. I lost all function after the RP. Got implanted 9 months later. For me the natural erection was much better. I am the same length as before but it does not fill out. Glans is sometimes cold and white. I really miss the look and feel of my blood filled cock. Of coarse after RP I lost ejaculation also. Much better than limp turtle after RP and I do enjoy the large flaccid. Cancer SUCKS !

Re: Who wins???
I see pictures of penis implants and some of those dicks look super thin, with a 3 O'clock erection angle or even 4 O'clock. But right now I only have two choices, implant or not have sex with a woman for the rest of my life, because at least I can still masturbate and ejaculated
I had a trauma 2 years ago, caused me narrowing, dent and shortening. PRP injections three months ago=worse narrowing, and worse ED. Now I only have two choices: impotent or implant. Born in 1975, in a relationship with girlfriend fir 4 years

Had I jumped in earlier I would still have 8" versus the 6 1/2 I am now (although I do love how this one works.....). The never worrying about losing the erection is so freeing!
For me, nothing is comparable to blood field penis with badly engorged mushroom ( glans) performing like BMW ( the German engineering).
I lost my penis function to prostate cancer treatment.
Implant was my only option ( everything else failed) to continue sex Life with my wife. My penis was disappearing in front of my eyes. Surgery made it 2+ inches shorter and made my penis completely dead.
Only difference between me and Oldbeak was that I was only 51 y/o when I had RP to treat prostate cancer.

Re: Who wins???
Agree with others that the engorged glans AND shaft with a trimix injection is likely better thatn the implant. The trimix injection erection can last for 3 hours just as stated below by someone earlier in this thread:'
My opinion has always been that a man should run with injections until they no longer work; then, get the implant.
My wife disagrees, and feels that getting the implant earlier is better because she hated the whole idea of me having to put a needle into my dick so that we could have sex.
The other night, she woke me up from a dead sleep so that we ould have sex. It was hot, in large part because the sponataneity and warm up to it was really quite natural. She likes that.
This is where I’m at. Tri-mix was starting to wane for me after using it very heavily. I loved fucking like a machine on it for 3-4 hours but it has its issues. ...

TANGERINE I understand that your opinion is that pills and injections are better as long as they work? and that you made the implant to please your wife because you think it is more spontaneous to have sex with the implant rather than inject yourself?

Well, although it is true that my wife likes the spontaneity, I think she possibly preferred my tri-mix dick (not sure). She also is not aware of stories where implants have been poorly installed or where there were complications (ie, she does not know the risks of implant surgery). In a nutshell, I got the implant because injections stopped working (I think I got 12 years out of injections).

importantly, you should be aware that the implant does NOTHING for glans swelling and engorgement, but that is just NOT a problem for me. Many have said that "an implant is not as good as a perfectly functioning natural penis." A "perfect natural penis" will be stiff as a rock in the shaft and fully engorged and stiff in the glans. For me, erectile dysfunction of the cavernosa (the shaft) has been fixed by the cylinders, but the erectile dysfunction of the glans remains limited. Maybe, trimix gel or Cialis will help my glans ED, but, for me and my wife, sex is glorious enough with my awesome implant, so I plan to continue to travel light and not worry about trying to do something for the glans.
