Most people prefer what I consider to be a cool bath. Of course I haven't really hopped in the tub with most people either  but I like my tub to be about 110°.

At the risk of showing my naivety, what is a VED and what does it do to assist in healing?
Does the bath/heating pad while inflating/deflating eventually soften the pump and inflatable tubes? Like others who have posted, too often my scrotum feels like there is a small rock in there with my balls and there are toothpicks poking the head of my penis. Can’t be because they fit me with a size too large because I have lost a good 1” in length.

I started the hot baths on the third day after surgery, but only with my surgeon's permission. It was heaven. I kept it up 3 times a day for the first few weeks, helped with the pain and counter-intuitively didn't add to the swelling. I liked it so much I bought a hot tub, which I still use a lot, 4 years later.

I always find it easier to inflate in the hot tub, and tend to inflate it for cycling purposes every time I use the tub. I'll then sit around for a while with the implant fully up to let things stretch out. Helped with growth for the first year. Now it's just easy and comfortable.

My guess is that I wouldn't have "needed" a hot bath after the first month, but since I kept them going I'm not sure.
