Genital Herpes and Penile implant

Im getting ready to have a penile implant. Also have genital herpes, very infrequent outbreaks. Anyone know if this poses any complication for the implant?

I don't have an implant (yet) but I have had herpes in the past.

Acyclovir (oral and topical) was extremely effective but it's just a treatment, not a cure. I haven't had any symptoms in years.

Acyclovir is a powerful antiviral and I have used it to treat genital herpes and even covid-19. Needless to say, this is a prescription drug and doctor supervision is essential.

Did you ask Dr Eid about this? I'm curious now if dealing with STDs is more complicated with an implant.
