If you have ED you have a diseased penis. Most of you are hoping to avoid IPP surgery as long as possible. Bad idea. The longer you wait the more diseased your penis becomes. The more diseased your penis the higher the risk of medical mishaps and subpar outcomes. No an IPP does not cure ED. But once you're implanted ED becomes manageable. I should have gotten an IPP 10 years earlier. Back then my nocturnal erections and morning wood were just waning. 10 years later after 2 years of impotency I had lost 1 5/8 inches and had severe fibrosis penile scarring and plaque.60 days of morning and evening VED restored lost length. But my tissue had been so stretched and was so soft my docs pierced my tunica without knowing. So I've ended up with a permanently deformed penis and one cylinder just under the skin. But hey still works. Delaying surgery is at best a roll of the dice. I lost. Will you?

Not sure I'd call ED a disease, it's more of a medical condition.
Anyway, I do agree with your point of don't wait. I tried all the things to make my dick work once ED started. Herbal medicines, Viagra and Trimix. All those did was band-aid the problem while losing libido, length and getting depressed. Going through the failures of each when they no longer had any effect was most depressing, like suffering through ED again and again. When you stop getting nocturnal erections or can't keep it up for sex, it's time.
Unfortunately, if insurance is footing the bill you may be required to try the band-aid fixes first.

Implant is a very invasive surgery, plus you can have bad outcomes. To say that everyone with ED needs an implant is ridiculous, not everyone has $20000 extra to spent for an implant, plus not everyone needs sexual intercourse to live.

What? An implant that can keep you hard for 24/7 if you want is pretty fucking cured.

Also, the people avoiding implants who should NOT be are men struggling badly with erections but refuse implants for fear of losing size. What man doesn't fear that. But with proper recovery it seems to not be an issue anymore. Cure erectly dysfunction, maybe get a bigger dick too. Easy choice.

I have to agree with 2435. Technically or otherwise once your implanted you no longer have erectile dysfunction….. you can get a boner any time 24/7 and keep it up as long as wanted. Sure it’s mechanical or as I prefer to say hydraulic…. But still it works on demand… how much more cured can you be? Just saying… lol

All excellent answers. Thank you. The disease I referred to was loss of oxygen common with fibrosis and penile scarring. So your penis is literally dying. You still have that but the cylinders keep you from shrinking. The point is that if you have these symptoms and you want to continue having sex putting off your IPP operation puts you in a much worse position for great results.

Ok, you've made 2 points. The first is a financial reason to not get an implant. Fair enough point but it hardly shows that a man does not need an implant.
Second point. True, a sexual life is not required for a life. Lots of monks & other religious men have proven that for ages.
Literally ever member is here because they feel like they want or need an implant.
Why are you here beating on a keyboard? I'm guessing that you're not interested in a celibate life. So its looking like its a money issue. Again, a fair reason. But why the hate on implants when its a money issue?
Wouldn't your energy be better spent on researching on how to get an implant at a reasonable cost?

I got mine from my urologist, insurance covered a large part of it.

For those who can't afford it, you know you don't have to hire the best, right? Pretty sure health insurance helps cover severe erectly dysfunction.

The point I'm making is that if you are planning to get an implant someday and you are using medicines to help your erections, don't wait. The longer you wait the more diseased your penis becomes and the worse your operation will be. There are many problems that might arise from a more diseased penis that you would never face with a less diseased one. Fibrosis, scarring, plaque and penile shrinkage all make your IPP operation much harder and less effective. If any of you are now experiencing these things, I'm talking to you. Your penis is also talking to you. Are you listening?
