1st. Post. Wish me luck in California... here we go

Postby HikerMan » Sun Aug 14, 2022 5:56 pm

Ok, 1st of all..guys, if you are getting a Prostatectomy, hate to be the bearer of bad news, but your natural erection days are over. I know this because I am a fit 55 year old who had this procedure done almost 2 years ago.
I've tried all other options to get get Uncle Charlie to go from 6:oo to 12:00, no dice.

I'm going October !0th, 2022 (Burbank, California) to see a Urologist who specializes in Implant surgery

His name is SRIRAM VENKATA ELESWARAPU MD/PHD(He is UCLA Board Certified)

I know the choice of surgeons is critical in this manner, my question to this vast group is simple...
Has ANYBODY had dealt with this individual? Was the result satisfactory?

Thanks in advance.

I totally understand you hikerman.
Diagnosed with prostate cancer and had radical prostatectomy at age of 51.
Tried everything possible for no avail.
Used Cialis, Viagra, VED TRIMIX, BIMIX but nothing worked for me despite having bilateral nerve spared according to my Uro surgeon.
Waited 22 months with no the smallest sign of life in my penis.
Made decision to get un implant.
My only advice here is don’t waist you time waiting for spontaneous erectiions to return.
And most importantly, choose an experienced implant surgeon.
Don’t go with just closest one. It is worth traveling to one who does it very often.
Good luck man.

For as many skilled surgeons as there is. Even beyond the frequently mentioned few. If we were having this convo in person? I'd ask you why are you going to an unknown surgeon? Let him learn his craft on patients that couldn't find FT on the internet. You have shown that you can search the web. Find a guy that has some decent feedback. Please note, I'm not saying he is bad. If your research shows that he is highly skilled. Not told to you by his friends or employees. Then by all means use him.
Look a little bit harder before committing to him.

I would recommend Dr Mills at UCLA or my surgeon at USC/Keck, Dr Jeffry LoDoyle. Both very experienced. Both Hospitals are excellent. Never heard of the Dr you mentioned. No regrets at all. Why are you waiting till October. My first appointment at Keck was 2 weeks out. was in surgery 2 weeks after that. You could be using your new hard dick by October.

Thank you for your response. I definitely want this done with someone reputable. I like my Urologist, but I simply don't know what level he is on regarding this procedure. The suggestions given to me by others are very valuable.

Thank you.

You're not picking a golf buddy. Its great that you like him but don't let that blind you to his experience and/or skills. You only get a first chance once. Please ask questions & research him some more. Best of luck to you.
