Yeah I got it after 40 y/o. You may have to fight with your doc for it since they usually say that you have probably been exposed already, but that is incorrect since the vaccine covers a bunch of different wart viruses and and warts are no fun at any age.

Were you a virgin when you received the shot? Also how did it go or make you feel? Doctor didn't want to give it to you?
I've heard of it badly affecting teens.

The early versions had to be re-engineered. Some kids experienced more than expected levels of pain/discomfort. As I recalled, the particle size was reduced.
Also, being a virgin isn't much of a factor. True, its easy to claim that theoretically you've been exposed after several partners. But that fails to take into account that even being exposed to HPV. You might not of been exposed to any of the variations that cause warts/cancer. That is what the vaccinations true benefit is.
My grandkids are vaccinated. None of them has grown a third eye yet. Don't be afraid of proven vaccines.
I know of 3 people that got HPV related cancer. Two died, not easily. One had a very long battle to beat it. Very well worth getting the shot.

No I wasn’t a virgin. My primary doctor didn’t know about it so I went to a travel clinic for it. I had no side effects at all.
